CAK bought itand we werent ready... i tthink every penalty in the book was called on us and we burned 2 timeouts for havin either 10 or 12 people on the fieldit was sloppy play but eventually it came down to cak gettin banged up with injuries and their O-line completely brok down in the 4th, greenback had 11 sacks and jason patty had 7 of those.... good close ball game CAK shouldbe 2nd in the region if they can avoid any more injuries

Sorry, but it sounds like the only reason CAK played good is because of Greenback's mistakes. Bot hCAK and Greenback still have to battle with Coalfield, Midway, and Oneida for the Region. Wouldn't be making any predictions just yet.

If you had been at the game you would not say that. The CAK boys played well because they came ready to play. Yes, Greenback did have some fumbles and interceptions, but they were forced by a strong, aggressive CAK defense. An example would be the fact that Greenback did not get a first down on their first two or three posessions. There were not any fumbles or interceptions, CAK lined up nose to nose against Greenback and held them to under 10 yards on each series. To make a statement as bold as CAK only played well because of Greenback's mistakes is way off.

Bubba, Greenback pretty much always starts out slow on the first few series, then they really roll. No doubt CAK stopped them on occassion and led for a while but the proof is in the pudding, with less than a minute to go they shouldn't have been in a position to score. Just like with less than 3 seconds to go, Oneida should not have been in a position to score and tie or beat Coalfield. Difference is Coalfield stopped Oneida, CAK couldn't stop Greenback. Few teams will stop Greenback. The other contenders in the region will get their chance. As Kingbrian says "To be the man, you gotta beat the man". Greenback is still the man and team to beat.

One game at time Jackets.

CYJacket,

theres a little bit of a difference between Greenback and Oneida

CAK will not be overlooked. There is a difference between Greenback and Oneida, but Coalfield stopped Oneida twice from getting in the endzone and CAK didn't stop Greenback once. Secondly, it was TIED with a minute to go which means Greenback had to get the ball (how did that happen?), move it down the field (how far?) and then punch it in in less than one minute. Sorry for the injuries, but depth is important, appears CAK doesn't have depth. They've come a long way since one of the worst teams record wise at Coafield beat them two years ago, but they aren't there yet. Could be a spoiler though and that is why they will not be overlooked.
