Yellowjackets ready to mount comeback!

After a bump in the road with a loss to class AAAA power Hillwood, the Jackets mauled Richland last night by a 35-6 score. The mighty Jackets are now prepared to put the heinous beginning behind them and start knocking off Region foes one after another and it will begin after disposing of Montgomery Central this week.. Count on it! JACKETS RULE!

I AGREEG! BUT, I HEARD THAT LAST YEAR! AND IT DIDN`T HAAPEN! THE ONLY THING THAT STOPPED THEM LAST YEAR WAS THEY DEPENDED ON THERE RUNNING GAME TO MUCH! THE YEELOWJACKETS ARE A GOOD TEAM IF & WHEN THEY TRY! WILL THEY TRY ALL THE WAY, OR WILL THEY GET STUNNED BY LEWIS CO.?

I went an watched the boys play the other night. They looked as if they had turned it around and played to about their full potential. They did completely dominate Richland, being up 28-0 at halftime and takin the starters out afters scoring one more time on the first drive.

 

I think the Jackets will come out on top against Montgomery Central, with it being homecomming and everyone comming out to watch them after being on the road for 3 weeks.They are also passing alot more this year with passing for 80 yards with 4-5 of Dusty England Friday night and over 200 against Westmoreland.

 

After Montgomery Central the rest of their schedule will be all region games , starting off with Harpeth, Waverly, Lewis County, Loretto , and finishing off with Cheatam County. This week will be a test to see if the can keep the ball rolling or if they will fall to another big school.The real test should come against Lewis County to see if this is the same team as last year or if it is a new and improved Fairview as some people has been saying.
