duke3
Yes the thread about Hacker and the coach was deleted because it had no buisness being posted for all of Tennesse to see.Hacker is no longer on the team and thats all there is to it.The girls have worked hard and all they want to do is play ball so leave it to that!Go Warriorettes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :justwrestle:
warriorettemom
White County has the following players back from last year.... Brooke Sunday...senior Amanda Lewis...senior Keela Henry...junior Hannah Hacker..junior Allison Cole..junior Kendell Agee..junior new to the varisty team Brandi West..soph Molly Mcfadden..soph Shauna Haley..soph Brooke Yates..soph Tisha Kirby..soph Stacy Jolley..soph Mary Kate Ross..soph We still have some quality players but I think our sophomores are really going to have to step up. Is Jolley in THE bloodline? No ..........I'm pretty sure that she is not related to Kellie or Brent Jolley.
benchcoach
Hacker and King both quit the team. It's amazing to me that nobody seems to care. Why do our girls keep leaving our team? Losing two girls of their talent will really hurt our team. We fans of White County need to get an answer to the problem. I agree with the last post, go Warriorettes. But we need all of our players. thekeg55
That will hurt White County, why did they quit?
Guest Oakland
i get tired of everybody blaming hess for these girls quiting. it comes up every year, look nobody said basketball was ever easy, if it was easy everybody would be playing but its not, so if the girls arent tough enough to play basketball for hess then quit, hate to sound heartless but thats the way it should be
benchcoach
The problem may be Hess Oakland 2001. Don't always put the blame on players for quitting. Have followed White Co. basketball all my life and have never seen girls players quitting like this. It's happened since Hess got here. Oakland 2001, don't put the blame on anybody, you don't know the whole story. These two players have played basketball all their lifes and would still be playing if somebody else was coaching. Both of these girls are college scholarship material, so to have them quit, cost them and their family a lot of money. These girls aren't just quitting for the heck of it !!!!! thekeg55
OK besides everyone blaming this on Hess has anyone talked to the girls and found out their reason or reasons for quitting?
duke3
Well put Oakland 2001. These girls were good players but there are still enough good players on that team to go far. If Hess was that bad of a coach why would all the talented girls that are left still be playing? Hess is a tough coach, he makes the girls toe the line and hey if you dont absolutely love the game then its hard to play this game when it's such a big part of the girl's lives. I'm not saying the girls didn't, but I do know that they wasn't absolutely set on playing in college,so benchcoach learn the whole story first!!! benchcoach
White Co. has lost two players that will cost us an average of 30 points and 10 to 15 rebounds. We don't have good enough talent to replace these two. To think Hess is not the problem, you must have your head buried in the sand.
duke3
My head is buried in the sand? You come to the home games and a few away games and you think you know it all. I'm with these girls a whole lot more than you are and you can sit there and act like you know it all about these girls. All you ever do is put that program down, so why dont you just sale your season tickets, give the team a break and go watch Cookeville. benchcoach
My opinion is as good as yours. I respect yours, you should respect mine. I'd be glad to talk to you face to face. No harsh words or feelings will be vented. I wouldn't walk across the street to watch Cookeville play. I live in Sparta, it's my home. Can you say the same??? I have never knocked our programs. I just don't agree with girls quitting being okay, and never questioning if there is a problem.
