This doesnt surprise me at all. I said on another board that Sequoyah is going to beat some teams this year they have no business beating and most of it will probably be because the other team cant stop Jonathon. If JJ doesnt avg 20+ this yr I will be very disapointed unless its where hes getting more assists. He can dominate almost anyone in the area when he chooses to put his game face on and show out. He can dominate the game both defensively and offensely.

Once he develops his handles a bit more and gets that jumper down hes going to be dynamite.

 

His team is a bit more experienced and stronger this year too.

Believe it or not Sequoyah will be really tough next year.

I went and watched the Sequoyah/ LC game last night, and I ws disappointed in how Jones acted and played. As soon as LC got a lead Jones quit trying to do anything, and when Sequoyah started to knock down some shots he finally started playing. Jones also doesnt play any defense. He seems like a player that thinks he is all world and he isnt. If he wants to play college ball then he needs to change his attitude real quick. Yes you are right Jones should score 20 plus a night, but he will be the decideing factor in that. Its all in his attitude. Also, when Sequoyah went to the full court press Jones had to play defense and it helped out tremendous, but in a 1/2 court 2-3 he just stood under the basket and tried to block shots, which he was unsuccessful at...

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.    Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.

      Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.

      I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
