ok, what happened and why? decided to wrestle freshmen, the match didn't matter, disciplining some starters, etc. etc. etc. i'm not going to go down the d1 vs. d2 trail on this one.

Watching this match was interesting. The Christian Brothers team was not wrestling most of it's varsity. I don't think any of the varsity was out there. But anyways, I thought the team did good for using their JV. Cordova did good too don't forget that.

CBHS had 1 varsity man out there and that was Josh Bauke he was wrestling because he is currently the only 112 pounder we have. We wrestled many freshman and most of our 2 and 3 strings this was a match for experience for some of the younger guys on the team.

Cordova was doing alright, one big bummer to me as a spectator was the fact that Minkin didn't make weight. He would have made a great match for Clarke.

I think he was trying to make 145 because Clarke had a forfeit.

I've heard the CBHS coach talk about this team or that team and how he could "beat them with his JV." Looks like he couldn't this time.

I know their coach. Anyways, who are you to be downing anybody? There is no reason for that. He didn't tell many people outside of his team...

I doubt Coach Lewis meant it in a negative light or to take anything away from Cordova. He's a pretty humble guy. CBHS is so good, because they prepare their wrestlers from a young age and get them good varsity experience as freshmen and sophomores. I'm sure he meant no disrespect toward Cordova.

No, I didn't. In fact, I am the one who posted the results of the match. Cordova wrestled great. Thanks bopper1 and best of the west. We had just wrestled 9 matches in 3 days. We did not, however, go out there to lose, I promise that. By the way, Doctor Evil, who are you, and when have you been around me to hear me say that?
