a sixty- something year old referee

I think if someone is going to ref, he or she should have played in high school and maybe even college. Also age should not be an issue. If someone can get up and down the floor and be a positive influence during the game -forget age. I would rather have a 20 yr veteran calling, than a 25 yr old cocky hotshot.

In the east i see refs older than sixty quite frequently. It doesn't make much difference they all are pretty much awful

Man, some of you guys are out for blood on a 60 year old guy. From what I have seen, I wish there were more 60 yr. old guys officiating, because the younger guys don't even know the rules! Give them a break!!

I agree get off the older guy most young refs r a wanna be or have napolean syndrome give me the guys with grey hair and experience-----in fact until someone reaches 35 stay with jayvee. Also refs should not be able to call @ their old high school or in their hometown----too much pressure.

East tenn refs r the best -- with west tn next------the middle tn refs are terrible!!!!
