I'm a diehard Loretto Mustang Fan!! But the fact the District Championship in the season team only got one Player named to the All-District is ridiculous!! I've seen Lawrence Co. play a few times this year and they have some great athletes!! I'm very happy for Desmond McGuire that he made it!! I'm also very proud that my favorite coach in the county, and probably state, Jason Burleson got coa ch of the year!! However, im extremely disappointed that all the coaches get together and will and deal to get a few of their players on the team!! It just isnt right, and Law. Co. got screwed!! No RESPECT given to the season CHAMPS at all!! Let's go Wildcats, go out in the tourney and earn the other coaches respect!! Kick Tail!!

Thank you 3BALLA4MUSTANGS for your post. I wish ya the best in your district play. Go Lawrence County teams! I really don't understand how a first place team could only have one all district player but I think it can be figured out pretty easy as your post says very well. It's pretty easy to figure when Shelbyville only won (AT THEIR PLACE) on a last second shot. They ended up with four all district players. I guess Lawrence County's one player (who is well deserving) played those four players one on four. Columbia was swept by Lawrence County. Columbia had 3 on the all-district team. That must have been a game of one on three. Figure that? Congratulations to Desmond Mcguire and the Lawrence County Wildcats for being number one in 8AAA.
