How about CSAS from Chattanooga in AA.

 

They finished up the season undefeated at home and tied for first in their district. They won the tie breaker with East Ridge. Anybody know much about them?

 

Do they have any potential to do well outside of the city?

CSAS is a very good team. As you may already know they beat the Regular Season Champ in 5AA last week(McMinn Central). They have a good mix of inside-outside game with the Point Guard and with the 6'5" sophomore post player. Anytime a team can take 1st place in 6AA it's an accomplishment in itself.

 

The District will be very competitive, however, due to the talent level of the teams involved. I would not be suprised to see a couple of upsets in the Semi-finals and / or Finals.

Thanks for the info. I have strong personal ties to CSAS, but I haven't been able to stay on top of their season much this year. So I appreciate the info! Good luck to all the teams in that district!

They have a shot at making state. I mean they've beaten everytime in their district and the best team in district 5-AA, so they should win the region. But I wouldnt be surprised if there were a few upsets either. Howard and East Ridge could both take the district tourney title, but i see a CSAS vs. East Ridge final, with the Patriots claiming the 6-AA tournament and regular season titles.

Yes CSAS has a lot of young talent and can make a run in the district and region but it wont be easy look out for them this year and next year with the whole team returning
