how come no body is talking about tullahoma's bryan morris, he just threw a no hitter in a 4 inning rain ending game on friday vs. McCallie. He hit 91 and his avg. fastball was 88-89, i saw this kid throw and i was amazed. Watch out for tulahoma this year they have a good staff!

Tullahoma's number 2 is Scott Miller. He was clocked down in alabama this winter round 86-87. He's got some good off speed as well

I will almost guarantee that Lawrence Countys Will McMasters will end up one of the top pitchers in the district at the end of the year. Im sure that unless you have seen Will pitch that you dont believe me but everyone will see. He isnt an overpowering pitcher but he can put it anywhere in the strike zone and also has a major league curve ball. I will guarantee that he will end up in the top 3 with wins in the district.

Bryan has a brother name Steven, who pitches in the Yankess organization. Steve says that Bryan has a better curve ball than he does. Bryan has picked up several miles on his fastball and could be a draft pick in 06.

The thing that makes Morris a top pitcher other than just talent is his attitude. He is a great team player and a bull dog on the mound. He will follow Tullahoma pitchers Brazelton, Reider, Spence, Marty, Smith & Griffin who all signed to play college since 1999. Brazelton is in the big show. Griffin and Morris will have a shot as well. They both have the size and talent. By the way Sr. RHP Miller from Tullahoma will probably play somewhere as will Soph. LHP Walker if he keeps working hard. Coach Hargrove does a outstanding job with his pitchers at Tullahoma.

I caoch Bryan in the summer, played with his brother Steven, played against Josh Morris and played for Ricky Morris. It's in the bloodlines. All have been drafted or in Bryan's case, hopefully on the way to getting drafted. All are or were tremendous ballplayers and in each case, seemed to get better as they got older. Keep in mind that Bryan is just a junior. It is scary to think that he is only getting better. The kid can swing the bat also, his dad is probably the best hitting coach around.

Correction, Steven wasn't drafted, he signed as a free agent the summer following his senior year. Everybody knew where I was going with it anyhow.

baseball 109, Coach Mathis, Brazelton, the scout from Franklin Co and others think he will be drafted. Morris has advanced very rapidly during the past yr and is ranked as the no.2 pitcher in Tn. (class of 05).
