i wanted to know everybodys opinion on how they think smyrna is this year, and i dont care about those scrimmages in preseason, they're just used to figure out the best strategy on the field. smyrna played clarkesville on monday and lost 3-2, smyrna put up an incredible fight and looked great, they could very well be on their road back to state. what do you think?

They won't be as good as last year.

i think you're wrong about that one, smyrna's offensive strength last year was drew davenport, the team would get the ball to him and he would score, but now the field is more spread out and they have more space to work with. and by the way, i failed to mention that smyrna's star defender, michael sullivan, was not playing in the clarkesville game due to an injury, he will prob be back soon enough, which will improve smyrna's game

Smyrna lost some really good players sch as Drew Davenport and Johnny Black. So, I know they won't be as good as last year, but they will still be a tough team.

Smyrna did not show much the past week with losses to Clarksville High and Rossview to start there season 0-2. There offense was fairly weak with there defense not much stronger.
