york was picked 5th but they beat upperman who was picked 2nd york has a great hitting team good pitching and good defense. they will be tough but i heard livingston was tough also. that should be a good game. my pick would be york and livingston at the end of the season.

Livingston all the way. York or Upperman will be second and third i dont know what order. Then Dekalb, Smith, and in last Jackson.

I agree that Livingston will probably win it. But Jackson Co. might surprise a few people. They have two decent pitchers and a couple of alright pitchers. They could possibly finish in the middle of the pack. This is just what I have heard from people.They said that the Roland boy and Johnson kid were pretty good pitchers.

Smith Co is not that bad either. They are 0-6 right now but look who they have played some good AAA schools. exp. Gallati twice and lebanon. The owls are a lot better than they were last year. They are going to sneak up and shock some people as well. They have some good pitching and are playing some good defense.

Who are some of the best players in the district? Pitchers, hitters, fielders, etc. Do you think there is alot of parity or is there a dominant team or two?

York has 2 great players. One is Stephens, he is a great pitcher keeps the ball low and hits his spots and has some speed with it. He is an awsome shortstop who has great range and he is the one of the best hitters on the team. The other player is Garrett, he's a lefty who throws the ball hard and has a wicked curve. He plays right field and he is an awsome hitter. He has a cannon from the outfield as well. Those two guys hit 2nd (garrett) and 3rd (stephens) in the line-ups so. Those 2 are as good as anybody else in the district. York has several other great players also. Sophmore pitcher Cory Collier will surprise everyone with his speed. He's alittle guy who can bring it. Shawn Wright is another good pitch for York. I think it is going to be between York and Livingston for the district championship this year. York will take it this year!

what about cannon county?

Smith County defeated Cannon County 11-2 I think. From what I hear, SC played a good game both offensively and defensively. Anyone know anything else, please let us know.

York is playing very well right now. I went to their game tonight against Smith Co. and they won 8-1. They're undefeated so far. Go Dragons!!!
