I wonder how many cops will be required to keep things under control tonight...not to mention the fact that it's also DeKalb's Homecoming. Should get interesting.

Zak Bush -- Morristown West. Hasn't gotten to play a lot since he's new there, but you'll know it when he does.

I don't know anything about the Morristown West coaches, but I have heard that they have a pretty good team of guys this year. I know there are some new transfers who are showing some real potential for this season as well as for the future. There's one in particular who's just moved there, but coach seems really impressed with him. I won't name names, but I think he has a good chance of getting a lot of playing time. Tonight it's the Lions and the Tigers (Oh, my! ). Cannon and DeKalb are also really big rivals, so that'll make it even more interesting. What do y'all think will happen? Go Lionettes!

Who would've thought? Cannon County beats Livingston. Wow! It's amazing how much you can lose with the loss of your star player (Beechboard). Congrats to the Lionettes.

All I know about DeKalb (or care to for that matter) is that Cannon County's gonna rip 'em up tonight! Go Lions!

GO CANNON COUNTY!! Not many that I talked to saw that one coming. We're 3-0 as of right now and tonight we play Coffee County, our old rivals. Could get ugly. Congrats to all the winners from either district, even though we all know who's keeping the gold come tourney time!

Meagan Adams from Cannon Co. is just a freshman and is already dressing out with the varsity team -- something that our girls normally don't get to do until their sophomore year -- and is listed on the varsity roster, unlike the other freshman girls. Maybe Coach sees some great potential in her.

Warren Co. is a AAA team?! We (Cannon Co. - AA) beat them last night by 5 or 6 maybe, I don't remember exactly. From what I've heard they lost some talent to graduation last year, but they're still a good team.

Then why bother putting it on there for us just to click on and get that message? I think we should be able to get that info. I would just ask the person for their email, but they're never on at the same time I am, and if I was to post a message about something that's not "sports relevant" then the topic would end up getting closed.

When I try to see what another member's email address is, some "Board Message" pops up telling me that I'm "unable to use this feature." How can I be able to?

It was. But I have to give Upperman credit for a great game. They have a REALLY nice school, field, and everything up there, plus a pretty decent team. Wow! The game really started getting interesting in the 3rd quarter. All of our points came then, and I'm so proud of Kermit for his fumble recovery for a TD! I was so excited for him and I know he was too, it being his last game and all. The play of the night though, I think, was the Lance handoff to Tarawa, Tarawa throw to a wide open receiver (I think it was Rodriguez but I'm not positive) in the endzone for an easy TD! It was great. It's amazing how support from the crowd can help a team so much. I think last night was the most we've ever cheered for this team -- and it showed how effective it was in the 3rd. Good luck to ALL the seniors in wherever they may go next. Good luck to all those who will return next year (for our winning season, of course), and also good game to everybody. Hope Jose is doing OK after his ambulance-requiring injury last night, too. I can't believe the season is over already. Can't wait 'til next year! Go LIONS!
