Casey Teal great pitching and the team had good defense through out the game. No one can say that ya'll didn't earn that win. Good Luck the rest of the season. And to all those who thought Beech was unbeatable, think again. Hendersonville needs to look at this as a stepping stone and continue to win from here on out. unioncounty Posted April 27, 2004 Report Share Posted April 27, 2004 (edited) I would like to give congrats to Coach Griffin and the HHS squad as well with a great win in 9AAA. I am telling you people this is a tough district. I know that Rossview, Dickson County, Centennial, and Brentwood loom in the region and substate but you have to come out of this district first. Beech and Hendersonville did it last year, but White House and Wilson Central have stepped it up this year. Also never count out Mt. Juliet, Gallatin, or LaVergne. What happened today is a sign to everyone that any team can win on any given day. You have to be mentally and physically ready to play every time you take the field in this district. HHS was the better team today, Beech was the better team the last time they played. Who will it be next? It starts for real in 2 weeks. Come out and watch this district tournament wherever it is held. I promise you that you will see some very good fastpitch softball by some very good players and coaches. Should be interesting? KK pitched against Soddy. Congrats to the Commandos for a big, and much needed win in the district. I wish i could have been there, but of course i have to work. I will be there thursday against Hunters Lane though, if it doesnt get cancelled. Again, congrats to Coach Griffin and the Lady Commandos. Keep it up!!
