Lavergnes jenkins runs his mouth

In the Daily News Journal today 8/17 Jenkins for Lavergne says the following

 

trash talking I am the best at that

 

i like to get in defenders heads

 

all i do is break their ankles and put six on the scoreboard

 

when i talk i bring it on

 

all the receivers out there im going to go ahead and let them know if they come across the middle its on

 

im out to punish them on defense

 

what would your coach say about these comments?

 

notice he never once mentioned his team.

 

looks like another well disciplined lavergne team

Not many but I bet he doesn't even know their record since he is busy working on his stats and trash talk.

do you have the link to the article? and you dont know that the reporter asked anything about the team or how much of that he even said. because i forgot that reporters dont twist your words up when they interview you

Im sure he was misquoted about 12 different quotes about his prowess was mentioned. I guess if the reporter didn't ask about his team there was certainly no reason to bring it up.

 

I have the article right in front of me and even his coach acknowledges his "trash talk" and how it shows his immaturity but still doesn't plan to address it.

 

This is great stuff for opposing teams that usually don't get to pumped to play Lavergne. I am sure this article will be on every bulletin board for every team they play. I'm sure all riverdales receivers are scared and their defense is dreading getting their ankles broken by Jenkins.

 

No laying low and suprising anybody Jenkins just called everyone out.

im not doubting that he didnt say any of it. im jus saying that reporters have the tendency to twist up people's words.

I know he is pretty good but he should have layed low like Johnosn did last yr.

 

He has now put a bulls eye on his chest and given teams more reason to come out after Lavergne when before they may have snuck up on some teams that were not primed to play Lavergne.

 

He has issued a challenge and my bet is it will be accepted.

Why are ya'll hatin. I am glad that someone from Lavergne has showed that they do have life left in their bodies. When you've been a region punching bag as long as they have it is a good thing to see someone over there is'nt just lying down. Even if it did cross the line of confidence and fall deep into the world of cocky.
