Looking at the box score from the Frayser game, I noticed Kingsbury did not attempt a PAT. They went for 2 everytime they scored. This will be interesting against Greenbrier's stingy defense. This game could come down to special teams and Greenbrier's #45 drilling one through the uprights.

I expect a close game. Greenbrier has been there before. Experience and toughness should help this Bobcat team prevail.

Either way...the community is proud of what you have accomplished.

Thanks to all the oustside supporters from region 5 and the mid state.

I will be looking forward to seeing those 8 buses pull up in Memphis!

Go Cats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sitting here in our hotel in Memphis getting ready to head out and find our bearings. Looking forward to a great game and getting back here to post that Greenbrier has won  . For those not coming down, keep the team in your thoughts and your fingers crossed. This team deserves a big win.

Good luck Bobcats!!! We're behind you all the way!

(Met some White House fans at a rest stop on the way down and saw the Franklin High buses rolling with police escorts in front and back with signs on their bus---looks like Middle Tennessee has migrated to Memphis for the night! thumb )

Came back to our hotel to catch the Memphis news on tv. Sorry to find out that White House lost their game against Melrose, but this crowd was ELATED to have won the semifinals and the Bobcats be heading to the State playoffs. The stadium was PUMPED to the max in the Fairgrounds in Memphis and Greenbrier was again the team with the MOST fans! We had literally FILLED the visitor side before even ONE of their fans showed up. It was pretty interesting staring at an empty home side, but they finally began to have more fans trickle in. Still not very many.

Greenbrier had a tough fight but Roger Herndon scored first and in the first drive of third quarter, Justin Pigg made a run that was like a streak of lightning racing down the field. Kingsbury got their first TD and missed the PAT. Several of the players stepped up and the defense was as stingy as ever, holding the Falcons inside the ONE yard line on 4th down at the goal line. Kingsbury was FAST and played a great game and made another TD but went for two and the ball was batted down in the endzone by Jacob Aldridge . Greenbrier played Greenbrier football and with only seconds left, Adam Adcock made a beautiful INT as Kingsbury worked their way down the field and it was GAME OVER---Greenbrier 14 - Kingsbury 12. It was a total team effort, and as Coachhard said earlier, came down to the difference of having #45 put it through on both PAT's!!

The CROWD went wild. It was such an awesome sight to see the Senior players so excited and the coaches so overwhelmed. I am thankful to have witnessed such a sight. Now it's on to STATE! Let's GO BOBCATS! Take care of BUSINESS! thumb thumb
