Indian
McMinn County easily won the championship game of the Midway tournament over Sequatchie 59-20. McMinn led something around 27-9 at halftime, 9-2 after one. They were head and shoulders above the other 7 girls teams there, all A and AA teams with McMinn Central rebuilding, not really sure what they thought they would get as far as competition but it's the other teams' job to beat them regardless. Good hustle throughout by Sequatchie, all 3 games except for a bit of the first one, they reached their potential I believe by making the finals. Better defense than the 59 points might indicate, they just couldn't get anything going on offense because of McMinn's strong D.
Guesswho?
Was McMinn Central in this tournament? If so, did McMinn County play them?

maroonandwhite
McMinn and Central were in opposite brackets. McMinn won all three while Central girls won 2 of 3 so they did not have the opportunity to play. You will need to come in and watch them play the next time they play which is a McMinn home game Guesswho.
