I believe the Tennessean is missing a game. Standings should be as follows:

 

1. Waverly 6-0

2. Creek Wood 4-2

3. Harpeth 3-3

3 Cheatham Count 3-3

3. Sycamore 3-3

6. Montgomery Central 1-3

7. Stewart County 0-6

 

District games this week:

Tue. 1.18.05 -- Wav. @ M.C.......C.C. @ C.W........S.C. @ Syc.

Fri. 1.21.05 -- Syc. @ C.C.......Harp. @ Wav.......M.C. @ S.C.

Nice post mkhhawk!!! Waverly pretty much has the #1 seed in the distict tourney wrapped up. CreekWood is currently sitting in the #2 spot in 10AA thanks in large part to their season sweep over the Harpeth Indians. Harpeth, Cheatham, and Sycamore are currently tied for the #3 spot in the district. Harpeth holds the #3 spot as of now because they have beaten both Cheatham & Sycamore this season. Cheatham holds the #4 spot because they beat Sycamore. Sycamore is sitting in the #5 spot, with huge trips to CreekWood, Harpeth, and Cheatham (which is this Friday night) left on the schedule. Montgomery Central started off slow, but a home win over Cheatham last Friday currently has the Indians sitting 1-GAME out of the #3 spot in the district. Stewart County will likely finish at the bottom of the district standings, but they do have the advantage of playing the district tourney in Dover.
