  1. The 2021 team was by far a better football team in terms of “team”. The 2020 team was certainly more athletic, but not better. I also believe that offensive play calling got better in 2021 due to choking against Nolensville in 2020.
  2. Here's my $0.02 worth..... Far from a powerhouse region, BUT.......other than the number of top tier athletes - Columbia, FC, Spring Hill, and Shelbyville will always have 1 or 2, and sometimes 3 kids that are as good or better than most in the state. Tullahoma, Lawrence Co., & Lincoln Co., sees those top tier athletes less frequently, but they do come through. Travel, gate, and atmosphere will all certainly improve, particularly for Law.Co, LincCo., T-town, and FC.
  3. Barely, or not, a "W" is never measured by the score differential.
  4. true, which is exactly why some are still talking about it. Troll another board cuz your stuff is as fresh as the Sea Man in yesterday's sock. You've been a member on CoachT for a whole 4 days and have nothing but troll posts.
  5. I disagree. Witten calls the offense. Sisk calls the defense. Sisk>Witten. Proven last December
  6. I'd hear my buddy say it over and over again about his coaching days..... a coach's ability should always be measured by what he does with an average athlete. Anyone, even I, can coach the superior athlete, despite, or in spite of themselves(myself). Coaching a far less talented athlete takes talent from the coach. I've watched less talented kids play with much better technique and more aggression, thus making them a better football team than this year's team. I have no doubt, that if given the opportunity, Coach Sisk will remedy the deficiencies that currently exist in the program, hopefully beginning with the most glaring positions on the field....QB's and offensive line. Play calling does not translate to completions and first downs, but properly coaching said positions may yield better offensive performances.
  7. Tullahoma should win tonight, but stranger things have happened. Hopefully we'll quickly realize the need for the addition of a couple of coaches to the staff. Tullahoma most definitely has a need for an offensive line coach, and a QB coach, as is apparent every Friday night. It's been painfully obvious that neither position gets coached. I understand the line coach retired and was not replaced, but what about the QB's? What's their excuse?
  8. . The Wing T can be very effective with simply running a sweep, trap, boot, and counter. You run variations off those four base plays. I've seen it installed over a summer and implemented well in one year. Now grant it you have to have the discipline of actually practicing it so you may be right that Tullahoma wouldn't have been able to install it in a year. The Wildcats definitely have the personnel that is more suited for it than what they are trying to do now. It'll be interesting to see what offense they run next year. Hopefully there are some changes on that side of the ball. This is way too funny!!! I hadn't even wondered where Shasteen was until this post......and you couldn't have nailed it any better. lmao
  9. There wasn't a school in the state that would've "throttled" Tullahoma last year. Not in 6A, or 5A, or 3a for that matter. Beat, maybe, but not throttled or beaten the brakes off of. Coaching, if anything, might've gotten in the way, but even then, it didn't get in the way on 12/4/21. Just saying. You really feel that way? I watched a team last season that could have easily competed with Oakland, Summit, or Maryville. Only depth of talent would have caught up with Tullahoma. First teamers on first teamers, I'm confident Tullahoma would have stood toe to toe with any of them.
  10. I too watched that game, that night, after watching T-town beat Betsy. Tullahoma could have easily hung with both of those teams. 11 on 11, I would've taken taken Tullahoma. Tullahoma would've ONLY been beaten when it came down non-starters, as is evident with what we've fielded this year. I know there was NOT a team in the state that would've "beaten the brakes off of Tullahoma" last season. That's a fact. But then again, we'll never know.....so this is pointless.
  11. Most of what you say is reasonable and makes sense, except for........."No Way they Win a St Champ in 5A last season." In fact, they could've not only won 5A, but could have competed against both 6A teams last year. FACTS.
  12. @PercyPeabody, I'm curious to know why you dropped the Cascade logo?
  13. We'll agree to disagree. This year's team is getting flipper slapped by those baby seals...
  14. I stand corrected, thank you. And yes, it's hard to win a ball game when you can't score.
