Anyone have any info on the Jets and Panthers for 2017 season. Who and where are they scrimmaging this spring?

What is the outlook for the a Jets and Panthers this year. Who and where are they scrimmaging in preseason?

Just curious! Where did Coach Hanlon move to and why did he resign at Oakdale?

How has week one progressed for the panthers? What is the pre-season scrimmage schedule? Has Watt added any assistants besides Zazarro and Schultz?

Who have the Jets got scrimmages with this preseason? Are they going to play in a jamboree? Does anyone know about any scrimmages for SMHS?

Panthers Scrimmaged Bledsoe County on Thursday. Have not heard how it turned out. Anyone have any info?

What was the reason for playing only offense or defense? Just to try to get more players on the field or were there other reasons? I would think new coaches would take a look at that idea. I would be surprised if Coach Watt used this concept. Would like to see order of schedule, does anyone know it? If Coach Watt names new dc will the one from last year stay on the staff? From what I have heard he likes to be in charge of things.

I think that we tend to overlook that SMHS has only played as a varsity program for two years. Also they were in the toughest 3A region state, see Knox. Catholic in 3A final, last year Fulton in final. This year they had the budget shutdown that cost them two weeks of practice. Whoever takes the job will have to change the culture of players missing practices and weightlifting to "work", parents and players not understanding that there is a game during fall break and going on vacation. IF both OC and DC were gone who handled the jobs during the spring for the panthers? Will those people handled those jobs in the fall? Has SMHS added any new coaches to their staff?

Any Info on how both teams from Cumberland County looked this spring? Any important changes for either team?

They can only play 10 regular season games. Unless one is a "JV" game like the Stone Memorial game last season.

I count 11 games so this can not be correct. One of the non-region games is incorrect! Stone Memorial region games Catholic, Fulton, Scott Co. Anderson Co., Livingston, Kingston, Austin-East Non region games: Cumberland Co., other games TBA Cumberland County is first game.

Local newspaper dated for Friday April 28 had announcement concerning Stone Memorial coaches. Coach Reeves will be leaving at the end of school year for a position in Georgia. Coach Marty Davis was named as new head coach. He has been involved in Cumberland County football for several years. Glad to see him get chance as head man.

Principals were named at a press conference on Friday Dec. 16. Mr. Eichelberger currently at Cumberland County High will move to Stone Memorial. Mrs Janet Graham who is currently at Stone Elementary will move to Cumberland County. Have not heard when changes will actually take place. Expect interviews at least for CCHS to begin after the Christmas break. Would like to see Coach Marty Davis given the opportunity at one of these schools he has been extremly loyal to the Jet footbal program for a long time.

I hear that the Jets have made some coaching staff changes. Who left and who is new?
