We are looking to add a shortstop for our 2017 Summer season. We only carry 12 players, so everyone plays a lot on our team. Players interested must have experience at a very high level and be willing to play the schedule we have set for this coming Summer. We will be playing the Colorado IDT ( Boulder, CO ), the PGF Nationals ( Huntington Beach, CA ), the Legacy Showcase ( Atlanta, GA ), the Scenic City Showcase ( Chattanooga, TN ) and the Eastern Elite Showcase ( Chattanooga, TN ). We will consider any graduation year as long as you can compete at the 18U level. Committed or uncommitted players are also welcome. All of our players are committed to D1 level schools, so we can help uncommitted players get committed as well. This past Summer we finished 13th at PGF 16U Premier Nationals in California, we were Scenic City 16U Super Pool Champions in Chattanooga and we went undefeated at the D9 Sun Classic in Orlando. If you are interested in a tryout, please contact Jody Parrott at 423-667-0950 or jparrott7113@comcast.net. You can also view our website at www.tnfury99.com. We would like to add this player as soon as possible so they can be involved in planning travel arrangements for Colorado and Califormia. Thank you!

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
