33rd Annual Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions at JQH Arena, Missouri State University, Springfield, MO

 

 

Last night, Thursday, January  12, 2017 Memphis beat Greenforest, (GA) 63-56 (stats). Tonight, January 13, 2017 Memphis East will face off against ... you guessed it

 

Monteverde Academy (FL) at 9:30 PM. This is the rubber match.

Watching the other semifinal between Sierra Canyon Ca and Findlay Prep on CBS Sports Network. East vs Monteverde is next.

Two words.

 

Buzzer beater.

 

Memphis East won in spite of T. J. Moss going 1-11 on the night. Alo took over and became a scorer when needed.

 

East plays in the tournament championship game tomorrow.

Alex Lomax with the buzzer beater winning the semi-final game of this tournament against Monteverde Academey in the Tournament of Champios at Missouri State in Springfield, MO on a Friday night, January 13, 2017.

 

This was the rubber match between the two programs. Round 3 goes to East. East has the bragging rights with the win!

23-21, Sierra @ half

 

Sierra 78, East 55. Its hard to beat somebody when your two main guards go a combined 3-22 from the field. Ouch. Oh well. At least Chandler had a good game going for 21 points. East shot a horrific 12% from 3. Double ouch!

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
