According to Coach Davis SMHS will be in 3A, the question is which region. The reason I think the Jets dominated the 2nd half was that Stone got cocky and it almost cost them the game. It was a very exciting game. We wish all the best to the Jets and hope they go 10-0 next year, unless they play us, then we hope they are 9-1.

Any ideas on which region Stone Memorial in Cumberland Co. will enter in 07?

I know, that what the schedule says! I said " it looked like Scott brought the A Team" . You guys are big!

The Jets where beat by the new cross town High School, Stone Memeorial Panthers, and we are a JV team. It was to be a "jv" game but they brought the Varsity and got beat! They did score 1 TD on a kick off and 2 TD's on offense. The paper said 6 seniors quit after the game, but I heard it was only 5. Jets should be in a 3 or 4A region next year since they did lose half of there team. I wish them luck, but Warren Co. should take the game.

One problem, they will not have middle linbacker/off. guard Zach Brumfield, out for 2 weeks with a concussion suffered in the Scott co. game. Also Defensive Tackle Keith Burgess will be out with a bruised kidney. We may be wrong but it looked like Scott Co. brought the A team and they beat on us all night. Hope you are right! Go Panthers!

Cumberland County- the new school that is. The new Stone Memeorial Panthers are 7-1 with the only lose going to DCA. Yes the schedule says "jv game", but several schools have brought the A team and where beat. With the entire team returning next year we look to be even better. We will more than likely be 3A, not sure which region.

Evan Sanders of the new Stone Memorial. He is only a Sophomore and has not only a great leg but does a good job of placing the ball on the sideline.

Stone Memorial is a new school with no seniors. This year we will end up playing 4 varsity and 6 JV games. Next year we should be 3A, not sure of which region.

Jets are in trouble!! Rumor mill has it that 5 Seniors have quit since the loss to Stone Memorial. I hate it for them because they are a good group of kids. You have to remember that they are playing a 5A schedule half of their team ( the other half is Stone Memorial). They will turn things around next year.

0 seniors and 10 Juniors. We will have a varsity schedule next year, maybe 3A, not sure at this time.

Coach Shultz gambled in the game Last Friday by bring the varsity to play the stone JV. The Jets finally scored a TD, but they lost the game. I hated this for the seniors. We wish them all the luck in the world for the remaining season.

Coach Reeves left in April and went to East Paulding in GA. The new SMHS coach is Marty Davis. He is 3 and 1 with a JV team. The one loss was by the varsity DCA team and he beat the varsity CCHS team. That game was to have been a jv game, but the CCHS coach gambled and loss.

Stone is looking pretty good. They have played two JV squads and two Varsity squads. One loss to DCA and the other night they beat the CCHS varsity. Looks like Coach Marty Davis has a good foundtion for next year.

SMHS JV beat CCHS Varsity in a very exciting game! SMHS hopes to be in divison 3A next year.
