Jefferson County Freshmen finnally gave up the first points of the season Thursday night at G-P, but it was on the opening kick off. The JCHS freshmen won 47-7. That means the defense still has not given up any points !! Keep it going Freshmen !!

They are a very good team, JCTWP. After they go to Gatlinburg Pittman and take care of business as they already have against them once (25-0), then will be time next week for D-B to come to town and get slapped around as well.

I can't believe all the panic that seems to be going on in Indian country. This seems more like the last three seasons at JCHS. I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the dramatics. I wonder if the Indian faithfull with have a new coach in mind before the season is over ?

There were 104 players out, but 40 of those were freshmen. Still 40 freshmen I believe. They have scored 129 points so far, their opponents have scored 0 !!

JC4life, I think we are on the verge of something special with Coach Anderson at the helm. The program, as in numbers, will grow in leaps and bounds. The future is BRIGHT!!!

Although I am a die hard Jefferson County Patriot fan, I am looking forward to seeing D-B's band again. That is some kind of a band. Makes me yearn for the old days when JCHS had a large band. Could the football powers that be start turning towards the east side of Morristown. Could this mean the retirement of Coach Woods and that East instead of West football may have to make the trip to Maryville in the semis? Time will only tell.
