Our booster did a fireworks show for homecoming! It was awesome. Our team is playing very well this year, our school is looking 100% better, fans and students are involved, it was a positive move....the fireworks were an added bonus. No harm done.

Wished the Titans would go to the backup QB! Good luck HC against CHS. How lucky your team is to have depth as an option (and prepared for action might I add).

Kenwood homecoming last night. Played Northwest (and Northwest won strong). Kenwood looked good coming out of the gate. They are gonna break loose at some point. Their QB threw some beautiful passes.

A score of 21-7 looks like a pretty good run for Northeast. Anytime anybody can go into HC and hold the Pats to 21 is huge....Good game Eagles!

Sorry, I'm not the one that said that...check your posts . What I did say is Northeast is very fired up. You may want to read back through the thread. Not my quote sir. I would never second guess a team of players...on any given Friday night, anything gives.

Fort Campbell is one of the toughest in the area. I would like to see a HC-FC matchup. I would give that battle to Fort Campbell kids, the uncertainity of parents off in war zones off to protect our country (so that we can all go out and watch games on Friday night), fantastic coaching staff, along with the true grit of determination. They are a very strong team. HC is a great team to watch, plus love the music from the horn man, but I believe NE will be fired up headed down to Paris this Friday. Gotta support our Clarksville team Pat Fans. HC-Fort Campbell is NOT being played. What's wrong with you people. Stick to the games that WILL be played!! Support NE, that's great! OK, GO EAGLES...I think what we are saying is that we would love to see a HC-FC match up because our players are spread between so many schools in Montgomery Co (and HC doesn't have that problem being the only high school)...we compare your school size to FC...and this is a football website before it's a thread right? That's all, just a mere comparision...but hey, GO EAGLES. Do Clarksville proud. How's that?

Watch out HC....Northeast will be fired up! Have the horn man shine his trumpet....the Eagles will be there in force. Good luck to both teams for a fun and non-injury game.

It helps when the 11 on the field can rotate out and catch a breath. I agree with the post that says C'ville has spread the talent field too thin....that is exactly what has happened. HC is very talented, but have a 'few extra' that can fill the void (or a tired player). NE is coming off of a huge win against CHS. They will be pumped and motivated.

Good luck. NW/Rossview game proved to be pretty even playing....just a questionable field goal at the end with NO time remaining put Rossview ahead by a point to win. It was a great night for homecoming with the rain holding off. I'll be checking yall's score.

I think we played very well against a great team and for that I'm greatful plus I see a little bit of victory for the Vikes in that game. Besides your football team, I'm a huge fan of a big crowd. Your following was profitable for our gate, which in turn is great for our team. I follow a high school team in Fyffe, Alabama...have some pretty good teams and even followed them to state. They close the town down and everybody goes. It is awesome. We don't have that here in Montgomery Co much anymore....so to see it in action is a good thing. Football is more than just the game. Hey, I played college ball with a guy from Fyffe.....any chance you know a guy named Jeff Brooks? He would be like around age 40. Found out about Jeff Brooks. He is a well respected head coach of Plainview (Alabama) High School baseball right close to Fyffe. Who does HC play next?

Looking at the weather forecast I doubt they will see it! GO PATS !!!!!! Ha Ha...good one...but don't let ego cloud it out. I'm just praying rain will hold off. I'm with Northwest and it's Viking homecoming against Rossview.

Name sounds familiar...but will ask some of my family that are still in that area. As small as that community is....that is hard to believe you even know where it is!! We love the Red Devils. I doubt anyone is overlooking anyone, especially a district opponent. The talk about the polls came up, and it was addressed. Oh yea, just saying...don't overlook. You just simply never know. Don't you think the kids are as strong and talented as HC? Sure they are. Possibly the coaching ability better? ?, don't know that one. But watch it, the Coyotes might be howling at the moon that night.

All this talk about being #1 could cause overlook on any given Friday night. Don't let one sneak up on ya! Your team is good...but stranger things have happened. Check out the score of last week's Cannon County vs York (rated #8)....(in fact, it's Gaddis' old buddy, former Northwest Coach Schrenk)...York ahead 14-0 at half...looked like a blow out....Cannon Co. came back and beat em', first time in school history....so don't overlook any opponet, new school or not.

Coming into Clarksville from Henry Co....take the 101st parkway (the new highway) off of Dover Rd. Go a few miles or so, you will go over Fort Campbell Blvd and you will approach the 2nd light which intersects with Peachers Mill...Take a left onto Peachers Mill...go a couple of miles and the West Creek School Complex is on your left...not sure how well it is marked out that way...but there are 3 new schools in the middle of a field...it might be Coyote Lane or something like that (nothing else on the road)..the High School is at the end of the road. Drive Safe.

HC dresses about 92-93 players on Friday nights...and also dresses around 40-45 different guys on the Freshman squad. Therefore..the Patriots have nealy 140 kids participating in high school football. Judging from last Friday's performance...that's the biggest disadvantage Springfield had.... depth. Would they have won with 75 kids?...probably not...but...as the number of participants increase...so will your wins! Yellowjackets....you guys are well on your way...keep doing what you're doing....it was a very good showing Friday night in Paris! I hope the Springfield community appreciates the effort! I'm actually a Northwest fan...and with 2 of our former coaches now at Springfield....wish them success as well. Good luck against West Creek. Who is lucky enough to be yall's homecoming opponet??? Yikes.

DEPTH being key word Leon...I've never seen so many dressed out! How many are on the roster? Is that the only high school in that county?? Springfield under Kelly Meyers will continue to improve.

No problem....I read about another school that came in county from out of town....loads of fans got so turned around out that way headed to West Creek. Sometimes maquest turns you at every little corner. Good luck to Henry County. I'm a huge fan of Northwest, and glad we played HC so tough a couple of weeks back. It's pretty impressive that so many travel with HC (horn man included)...Montgomery Co has so many schools now, it's hard to get that kind of following.

Well Trulyblessed...I love your enthusiasm however..you fall into a group who commonly confuse turnovers...with over confidence or "overlooking" an opponent. Those two things are not the same! Yes..HC realized early in the season that the Vikings are MUCH improved and believe or not...even excited to see NW much better than in years past. Although impressed, HC is not surprised by the Viking's early success this season! BUT..also realize..HC put up 42 points against a VERY GOOD Northwest Viking squad. The early turnovers created a hole that the Patriots had to dig themselves out of...and did as a solid, athletic, disciplined, and well coached team should. Likewise, Springfield finds themselves in a position we've all been in over the past decade. Much like NW the last couple of years, they are very competitve but are struggling to regain the respect that their community so much desires! They will certainly be a contender in the near future..hopefully their numbers and fan support will increase as well. If you want to talk about surprises...most aren't surprised that the Vikings beat Dickson last night...however...many are surprised by the wide margin of victory...care to explain? It was won by good old hard working teamwork....they simply believed in themselves, plus our new coaching staff is helping alot. Coach Offut is a good for the Viking team. I would also check out those directions that were given on here...don't know where a "peterson lane" is...if coming from Henry Co, take the 101st off Dover Rd. Take a left onto Peacher's Mill....several miles down, ON the LEFT....is the West Creek schools complex, the high school to the end of that road.
