  1. Obviously another Goodpasture hater. Boy, don't we see ya'll alot. Obviously you haven't seen Goodpasture play at all. 14-0 or 7-0????? I can assure you that Goodpasture will easily drop 35 or 42 points ATLEAST. Oh yeah I'm sorry to inform you but the best D Goodpasture will and has seen all year is David Lipscomb. I could run my mouth and show no class saying GP will win state but I'm not, it's 4 more games and it's one game at time.
  2. Papatiger, you are the same person who claimed that you knew for a fact that CPA would be upset by Waverly, and the Lewis Co. would blow out Fairview. So this week you already started by putting Camden on the same level of Goodpasture (which you haven't see play yet obviosly) and Camden ahead of CPA. Well, its your opinion and you'll be proven wrong again this week.
  3. What are you talking about???? Goodpasture beat Adamsville 42-0 at half time. Goodpasture coaches put in Freshman and JV the whole 2nd half in which Adamsville scored 18 points. So I know for a fact you weren't there.
  4. Goodpasture had great sportsmenship after the 1st half the score was 42-0 and the coaching staff put in the JV team the whole 2nd half. So basically Adamsville beat the JV team 18-7.
  5. First of all let me start by saying, when i said that Camden could pull an upset I didn't mean against DCA I meant against CPA. Not to get misunderstood. Secondly, I think you are a little too fired up lol. I thought Waverly beating CPA was the craziest thing I heard all day, but to say Adamsville over Goodpasture????? Is just stupidity. Everyone in Tennessee knows 100% that Goodpasture will win. And it's not 5-2A against 6-2A. All four of us dislike each other after all we play each other every year. Thats the reason why GP and CPA teams are so eager to play again in round 3.
  6. No offense but please don't compare Waverly to the 2005 Livingston team. That comparison is way off. Livingston lost 3 games to Fulton, Knox Cath and the 1-A state champs Trousdale Co. and every single one of those 5 losses except for Fulton was less than a touchdown. And they end up beating 2 of the teams they lost to in the reg. season in the playoffs. Don't let the 5-5 record fool you. The only teams Waverly has played worth anything are Camden and Lewis Co. and they've lost 62-9 in those games combined. Livingston competed in all their losses. And you've gotten blew out to a team not even in the play-offs. So don't be to quick to call your team a "cinderella team". I have seen CPA play and unless something biziarr happens 2nd round we'll be seeing CPA and Goodpasture battle it out in the quarter finals.
  7. Wow, I'm not even a CPA fan. Actually I'm a Goodpasture fan. To say that CPA won't blow out waverly is crazy. There is no chance at all in this world that Waverly pulls an upset. Secondly, there is a chance Camden can pull an upset but I seriously doubt it. I plan on seeing another match up between CPA and Goodpasture.
  8. Well, Goodpasture finally had the game they wanted to play (CPA). Now it's back to blowing teams out again starting with Adamsville and who ever they play second round. But I think they will see CPA again!
  9. Not yet. I don't think either will commit till after the season any way.

  11. Heres a way to end this whole conversation...Which football player/s has been recruited by Goodpasture?
  12. Yea sure they can go 10-0. But when the going gets tough and they start playing some real compition its going to be hard road in the play-offs
  13. It's not all of us. It's just Goodpasture and CPA and sometimes Fairview. The truth is Goodpasture and CPA are a whole lot better than your teams, don't take it the wrong way. Since Goodpasture beat Camden easily with an average squad they had last yr and Lewis Co losing to Ezell first round last yr I don't think that neither of your top 2 teams can compete with CPA or Goodpasture.
  14. Credit??? Goodpasture doesn't get credit for beating those teams either. Becuase they are suppose to. Until Fairview beats a decent team with a winning record they will get credit. No offense to any team thats just how it is. If Fairview comes out victorious against CPA they'll get credit. About the fake punt: When your up 30 the game basically turns into a scrimmage and you do things that you don't normally do in a tight game. GP faked one against DCA too they're not complaining. Any way GP fumbled on the fake punt and Fairview ran it back for a touchdown..???? And your complaining??? If it wasn't for that the score could have been worser. If you think Goodpasture runs up the score so much than look at the FRA (only 47 pts) and the BGA (38-7) games. And those games could have easily been 80 point games. Any ways good luck to both CPA and Fairview this week.
  15. 27-19??? Obviously you weren't at the game. Goodpasture dominated that game so much that there was going to be 60+ points regardless if the guy threw 0 INT's and one of the INT's was at the end of the half and GP didn't score off of that. In that case take all your points back that were scored on GP's second team. We can go on and on how the score could have been different. All "im number 1" was saying is that (in his opinion) that anyone who gives up 62 points period isn't good. But I think Fairview is a decent team that will atleast get to the second round of the play-offs IMO.
  16. Yea I know Camden is good team. I was just saying that Goodpasture is really good this year and could beat Camden.
  17. Don't know much about Lewis County but Waverly and Camden have no chance with Goodpasture.
  18. This is a big game for both teams. Both teams are for sure play-off bound but this could very well put one of them in a good play-off situation. But when it comes down to it I'm pretty sure CPA has pretty decent run game and pass game. But from what I saw from fairview I don't think to much from their pass game and their run game is alright. CPA- 28 Fairview 17
  19. When it is a blow out at half time Coach Martin gives his starters one more drive and takes them out. So Goodpasture's starters have only played 2 full games all year. But when the first team goes out in mid second quarter and the second team comes in its no different. When the 2nd team skill players are just as good as the first team it gets bad for the opponent. Goodpasture coaches have way more class than to try to put 90 or 100 points on someone. The only real teams IMO are Goodpasture and CPA in region 5. CPA and Goodpasture have both improved drastically if you look at both teams scores from last year to this year you know that they are pretty good. And yes the region has went way down from last yr. Last yr's region 5 had 6 teams that had a chance for some playoff football.
  20. Very ugly game. I have no other comments. Final Goodpasture 64 East Robertson 6
  21. Fearing Huntington more??? Well I'm not even going to argue with that. Either your your just talking off of the top of your head or you're real ignorant. I have not sean Marryville play so no way I could judge a team I have never seen play. I have seen Fulton play and yes, in my opinion Goodpasture could beat Fulton. And for the whole championship history situation, Goodpasture didn't become a powerhouse until 1995 when Coach Martin got there. Since last 11 yrs they've been to the state 5 times winning 3.
  22. Yeah, I understand what you are saying but have you seen Golden Tate play?? Just to be brief the guy is simply amazing. All I was trying to say was that Goodpasture won't see another back like him by far. Rae Sykes great player but Goodpasture has some lineman that might not be able to hang with him speed wise but strenghth wise definately. If Bart Hicks was the defensive MVP from last year I'm pretty sure he had 9 tackles last yr. We all have are opinions, yes Alcoa will always be the champs until someone beats them. But until someone beats them we will all have our opinions. I do understand why still look at Goodpasture as a joke...Hey you beat them 55-13 last year, why not think that? But I've seen Goodpasture play and are far from a joke.
  23. Blow out.... thats all i gotta say. CPA 51 Ezell 6
  24. Well, lol somebody just hit the nail on that one. If goodpasture can play with GOLDEN TATE (Best player in the state). They sure can play with what ever Alcoa has to offer. And don't even say Alcoa has someone like Golden Tate because I was at the Fulton game (no comment). Last year on Goodpasture Golden literally dropped, by himself 55 points on Goodpasture, same as Acloa did last year. This year the defense has improved and didn't give Tate that much this yr. So I doubt they'll see a back like that for Alcoa. So that closes all those "too many athletes for goodpasture" comments (Goodpasture has way better speed than last yr any way). If both do play in the Boro (both teams to good to miss) it will be a dog fight.
