Page was mercyfull.This is not a knock on Hickman.They where just outmatched. Hey Spunky...sounds like you are a DEDICATED fan.Not many are in hard times. Forget about the clicks of fans and alumni,and do your thing,they are the first to jump the fence in bad times.

Where did you get the two? The 2 pts comes from this scenario.....Fairview is driving the ball late in the fourth quarter against the Giles Co frosh team......and the Giles Frosh defense holds on a 4th down try by FV on the Giles 2 yd line. Gc takes over on downs. The GC frosh qb is a little too ecited and the Fairview All American linebacker breaks thru and tackle the Frosh RB in the end zone for a safety.....this sets off a celebration by the FV team which results in several unsportsmanlike penalties moving the kickoff to the Fairview 35 where GC pooch kicks down to the FV 10 yd line.......delayed whistle by the refs because they are laughing too hard at FV.....Game over......FV gets on the bus and heads to the Fairview Sonic where 250 cheeseburgers await their destruction.....and there you have it from the Bulldog's unofficial review GREAT SCRIPT BULLDOG!..You should try your hand in writing.Or making movies. For Fairview it would have been better to play last night.All hope is lost now.

Hickman will get better,they have no choice. You are correct,they have no support,Page can win this one by as many as they want. Hickman keep your heads up,better days will come.

Ok.......... If the comedy acts are over,give me a realistic spread on this game. Weather will be a factor. Sources say this Fairview team was incomplete last week. Word is they have some big time players back,will it make a difference? Can Giles play in the rain or is Page that good? Strike that , Page is Good, so can Giles play in the rain? What are the odds of an upset? I look for Fairview to be better than expected but think Giles will still run away late. Good luck to both teams.

Fairview Faithfull take heed..........Giles will win and do it easily. I hope I am wrong and it turns into a good game. Just dont want you to get your hopes too high. No disrespect to Fairview or the other smaller schools but they just cant compete in this messed up,screwed up,makes no sense district crap that you can thank TSSAA for. I agree with some that this will hurt GC down the road.Not to mention that MC is so messed up.Giles has left Fairview..... East Hickman......Lewis.....Marshall.I dont expect any to test the Cats. I am not sure Giles is as good as everyone thinks they are.....Hickman was a practice session. Shelbyville was way over rated....Lawrencburg was improved but that isnt saying much. Spring hill was a pretty good team and dispite the score...played GC very close. Page was a pretty good team that should have/could have/all but beat the Cats...only to self destruct.Cookville was a good team that beat GC. I know I hurt some feelings and I hope Im wrong,just call it like I see it.When GC rolls over Page/SH and the better 4a 5a schools I will say they are one of the best in the state. Until then I will say GC is the best in the district.Hope we get a good playoff bracket.

Giles wins big. I agree,Giles will 'barring an upset to match no other' run the table. I would not say they will not be tested in the 1st round though.

I would not say Giles is a one man team.But if Wallace OR Houston is not in the game it will be hard for the cats to win like they do. Again......Giles was lucky.......I'd rather be lucky than good.........because good would not have won this game. As for Page moving the ball at will........they did..........but killed themselves in the red zone. They shut down the run of GC and had a pretty good ground attack of their own. I agree that the schedule is not the best to prepare Giles for the teams that will be in postseason,especially seeing that the better teams such as Page and Spring Hill seem to catch up with Giles late in the year. PistPatriot,you may not care what anyone thinks but it WAS execution,penalties and turnovers that got you.Other than that,most all of what Page did was working fine.

Congrats to the Cats on a big win! Not to take away from the GC win,but the Pats beat themselves tonight. Exciting game.Both teams were hurt by penalties but the Pats were devastating. The game plan for Page was almost perfect....very impressed....If both teams had played penalty and turnover free,the score would have been 21 - 13 and Ruderville would be having a huge party tonight. But thats football. Giles should walk into the playoffs from here. Page may very well change my prediction on district finish.The SH game WILL be entertaining, MC should be a lot of fun. Again......Congrats to GC for getting the win and to Page for not folding down 16-0.
