Next year in 8-AA will be the same as usual. ONE TOUGH DISTRICT! Macon looked young this year, so they should be pretty good. LA will lose 4 srs. this year but have 4 jrs. and on soph who saw a lot of playing time this year coming back, so they will be good. Upperman was young as well this year and I see them in the mix. Smith Co. will be good with Hackett still there. Cannon Co. will be good but Sissom-less for the first time in a few years, but #4 looks young and impressive and Dodgen is a good coach. York, well...they are gonna continue to struggle IMO. DeKalb will be a quality opponent but not a contender although there program is headed in the right direction. Central Magnent will be loaded with everyone returning.

Every win from now on is big and gutsy.

Personally to me, this goes past wins and losses. However, I think our girls would be up to the challenge should the two teams meet.

I am unbiased as well. None of this will matter to me or LA until state, that is both make it that far. But it is actually a BIG deal...2 articles from the local newspaper made it a BIG deal. I am in no way bashing the player or the team, but I do question the coach, school, and community. There is way more to life than sports and I am not sure just exactly what message this is sending.

Clarkrange just avenged its first loss of the season by routing a good AAA-Cumberland County team tonight. They also avenged their other loss to AA- Livingston Academy 3 weeks ago. They will be a tough out for anyone come tourney time. Jackson County will be there too. Never, never count Jackson County out.

I agree, Faulkner is much tougher on the inside and Cannon Co. really appears deeper too.

I guess we didn't! Never the less...its really difficult for any team to win shooting the 3. Again, just my opinion.

DeKalb was good that night, just as last night. Both nights they were lights out from long range. How many other district nights have they been lights out? They are OK but not contenders. Not trying to insult. Just my opinion.

Oldkodger...DeKalb hustled last night. But 17 3's and official help kept them in the game. DeKalb is not a district contender. IMO.

Union City is good no doubt, but just what have they won? Gold ball still gives thru 7A until someone knocks them off.

Not so sure they are the team to beat in Class A. Ever heard of Jackson County or Clarkrange? They're pretty good too. And I have saw all 3 teams play.

Aren't they all personal reasons?

I don't think anyone expects these officials to be perfect. But I do think they should be held accountable, be knowledgeable, and maybe most of all, be fair. For the record, I am a parent and a fan. Because I am doesn't make ignorant to the game!

I don't think this is anymore personal than when Dickinson(sp) went to Clarkrange.
