No, I agree with you. You are right, different reffs are used in the playoffs and I was BEYOND shocked to see that Crockett lost that game, I'm just saying that generally speaking, when Crockett plays in Alamo, the calls go their way 90% of the time. Evidently thats not what happened last Friday night.

Thats the best idea I've heard yet. I know that at least three of those guys have coaching experience and diverse background in arguing with officials as well as 20/20 hindsight concerning bad playcalling.....Those guys really know football.

This was his last year. I've heard from very reliable sources that he told the team that he wont be back next year. Yes.

I'll have to agree with you on this one big country. There were bad calls on both sides at both of South Side's playoff games but that just happens. Also you couldnt be more right about refs at CC. I absolutely dread playing at Crocket Co. because you know before you ever get there that its going to be one sided bad calls all night long. Its just a fact. Maybe Crockett did get the short end of the stick last week, but if they did, its been a long time coming.....those are the harsh facts of the matter.

Ive heard a hundred rumors as to who will be the next head coach at SS. Ive heard Coah Craig may come back from Humboldt. Ive heard P.A. Prat was coming to SS. Ive heard Coach Stearling will be taking control. Ive heard Hardegree was coming to take the job.....At this point I wouldn't be surprised to hear that John Tucker was coming out of retirement to coach @ SS. They all sound good to me. Does anyone have any insight into this subject?

Well..... I have to say I was wrong on almost every predidction I made last week.. I said that SS would only lose if the coaching staff didnt bring their A game, and that if SS lost, it wouldnt be because the team didnt show up. The fact of the matter is, the team just shot themselves in the foot one too many times. These things happen sometimes, I just hated to see it happen to this team. I also felt confident that Crockett Co. would would win Friday nigt too.....I heard the Giles Co. coach on 101.5 after the game, and I cant say enough about how that guy impressed me...class act all the way. In the last 10 years there have been at least 3 SouthSide teams that have had the talent to make it to state, and the first two times I have to say it came down to South Side getting outcoached, but I dont think thats what happened this year. South Side played their worst game in the playoffs against a very solid, very disciplined, very smart Giles Co. team and lost. I'll have to say that doesnt sting nearly as bad as the years when we had the talent and just got outcoached.... As far as my thoughts on you Bulldog69, I can see by your posts that I evidently have a knack for pressing your buttons with my posts...get used to it. Im not goin anywhere. South Side will eventually overcome their coaching problems and when you couple that with a program the continuously turns out the level of talent each year that South Side does, there will come a time that they will go all the way, and when they do I'll be there to see it. Great season Hawks! I'll take 11-1 every year.

here are some things to think about.. Earl Nall Prep performance poll in 3A has SS @ #5 with a rating of 71.7 Giles @ #13 with a rating of 57.2 Cheatam #14 also with a rating of 57.2 Sony Moors Power Rating SS #6 in 3A Giles #12 Cheatam #14 Coach T's Strength + Success Rating SS #4 @ 1.42 Giles #6 @ 1.38 Cheatam #34 @ .95 I see a pattern here. South Side definately has the ability and I think everybody knows that. If South Side loses this one it wont fall on the shoulders of the players, or their effort, because they bring it EVERY WEEK. Coach Hayes HAS to step it up this week.
