Whitwell can run the ball successfully against grace. grace can pass successfully against whitwell. so it's all gonna come to the defenses. Whichever defense counters the others offense, in this close match, up wins. it's true, grace cannot stop the running game. Silverdale ran all over them, Boyd ran all over them, and Lookout Valley will also run all over them. their linebackers need to step up and make some plays if they want to beat a good running team like Valley. when basketball season comes around we will talk about basketball, but right now it is football season. as for the temple-grace game, I say it gets ugly at the end of the first quarter. final score should be around 55-0. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> I just hope no one at temple gets hurt.... the game is @ grace, kickoff should be around 7:00-7:30

this is a little off subject but here are the scores on some of their preseason scrimmages: They kept up with Grundy Co. 13-13. and an all defence scimmage with Sequachie 0-0. and at the saturday jamboree a couple weeks ago the game vs. chattanooga central went 0-0 also. Oh and I almost forgot they beat CPA 7-0

Grace beat Silverdale last year 34-16 i believe, but Silverdale has much improved since then, and looked pretty strong in the last couple of games. As for grace they dont look that bad beating taft 41-18 but taft is not a very good team to brag about so this game should be a good test for both teams. I recall that silverdale has yet to win a game in the grace-silverdale rivalry....

Not sure what the score was exactly but it was somewhere around Grace Baptist 35 - Grace Christian 14. Grace Baptist defense is looking better than last year.

5th or 4th place depending on their game with grace, Whitwell beat them last year and might be able to do it again
