And as for the post saying Im living in the past, Howard is good NOW!!!! They are ranked in the state, but what Im saying is that winning is not new to us at Howard so we dont bragg. Only people who are not use to winning would do something so petty. Like I stated before maybe you are mad because your football team only won 2 games so now you get a good team and want to bash the whole state, get real!!! I never even heard of the school honestly but I read the post and saw how arrogant you people were and decided to post on these comments. We have beatn everyone who they said we couldnt so whats so special about the statue of Liberty

Plus in a city like Jackson they should be a great team because they cant do anything else besides milk cows and drive to memphis. But Howard would probably put that same whippin on them that white station did. Plus your football team stinks what happened everyone focused on b-ball

Laugh all you want and make any comment you want but I stand by what I said. Howard probably would beat them now. They lost their senior shooting guard because of grades, they lost their junior forward because of grades and they lost probably the best player in the city in Domonique taylor due to grades. Not to mention they lost Michael Ford who was the best player in the city his sophmore season, this would have been his senior season he is about 6'6" and can play any position on the floor. So laugh all you want but they are ranked #3 in the state despite all of these set backs. Not to mention they play ball and go hard after every play. They do still have D.Ricks who is a solid player and is a triple threat and I have never saw a kid in this city with the basketball IQ that he has. He makes everyone around him better and they play team ball so laugh all you want but Howard has always been good and is recognized throughout the state they have former players playing in the NBA, and NFL not to mention the best DE to ever play the game in Reggie White. And Rashard Jones-Jennings who may be a draft pick this year so please laugh at Howard being mentioned but we have a history of excellence and given the chance to play them Howard would beat the statue of Liberty. I wish Howard had all of its players they would beat Liberty by 7. I dont care how good they are on paper the game has to be played

If thats the case then they shouldnt even talk until they beat a Hixson, Brainerd, Howard, Tyner, East Ridge, CSAS, Temple, CCS. I could keep going but when you play terrible teams and win that means nothing

Howard is the favorite but Hixson is the most dangerous team in this district. They have athletes and a good coach in Eller. I wish he was Howards coach a couple years back when we had Leroy Higgins. Maybe we would have went far into the state tourney

True! but Ricks played his worst game of the season last night and they played a lot of their freshman. CSAS has good guard play I will give u that because that is something that this city is lacking. If they had consistant play in the inside then they would be some force because their guards can play with anyone. What do you mean by spelling Howard the way you did. If you mean anything by it at the next game you see Howard play be sure to say it to the fans and not the internet. Howard needs Taylor, the teams in our city are not that good thats why they have been able to get away without Taylor. They need a nother scorer in the Line up. And with him and Ricks playing together they can create much more for the role players and Allens scoring will go up because it will create easy lay ups for him. When they play teams out of this area they will need taylor look at what happened at AE. Even though they Ricks and Allen got in foul trouble, but they need depth on the bench because in that situation 5 just wont cut it.

Whats been up Legend(the ultimate Howard Hater). All that matters is th eWIN. Howard is a team who would ever expect a sophmore to lead them to the win. Howard is playing shorthanded and their coach even said that they are only 5 strong but just like the song goes. "Everybody knows, almost doesnt count." But its a sport and anyone can win on any given night. Hixson should have beat Howard the 1st game and everyone knew they would beat them the second game but howard won another close one Its basketball and people have bad games, Ricks only had 3 points

I do remember. Its hard to come out with a win in the Howard vs. Brainerd game and the games usually come down to the wire plus its hard to beat a team like brainerd three times in a row. I think it would have been a game if it wasnt for Robert Highs favoritism. #42 came into the game and brought them close and broke howards press everytime but was pulled and never brought back. Ejay Ward is not a good b-ball player and only recieves recognition because of his brother was a good 3-sport athlete. But he is not that good if you ask me he scored 6 points and they came when the game was out of reach. But Im more worried about ER in the regions this year. Plus we have to get out of our district first because this is b-ball anyone can win on any given night. As for kid when have you ever picked Howard to win I cant recall any

Honestly in my opinion your team is just not that good. If they were off their game its because of the pressure that Howard put on them. Not to mention that Taylor didnt play and they also have other starters who were out plus this would have been Michael Fords senior year they probably would have beat them by 40. Skoegen is average he is no Ricks or Taylor.

Lets remember that I am the altimate Hustlin Tiger fan but they are not as good as they were in the begining. They beat CSAS by 30 earlier but this past game they didnt have Taylor and Ricks didnt play well but like I always state good teams find a way to win and they couldnt find a way but their coach rotates players to much and dont let them get a chance to get comfortable

Right now they are missing Eric Halfacre, Dominique Taylor, and Buck Buck I dont know his real name but he is about 6'5". And is just as good as Ricks, Taylor, and Allen. But that just shows the character of this team and reguardless if they win another game this season they have weathered the storm because all the cards are lined up against them. But boy do they have a mean poker face.

Hey Kid I see that your at it again. Those Hustlin Tigers just keep disapointing you. I love their intensity and their team work. They dont have the most talented team but they have a star and good role players and every one plays their role and they dont try to outshine eachother. Remember this is a team playing without 3 starters and Michael Ford who would be the best player in the state argueably. So take your hats off to them

This entire post is a joke. I have not seen a solid guard in chattanooga. The area has good wing players but no true guards. I saw Dee Newsome play, the guy from CCS and the kid from Marion and they all were blown out by Howard mainly because they couldnt handle the pressure and they all lost by at least 20 Howard doesnt even have good guard play but they out play these guys. Please stop this post. Chatt used to have good guards but the talent level has gone way down

I have to say that I do not know this kid and I have only seen him play 1 game but from what I am reading it seems that you guys are a little jealous of him. What!!!! You guys are still on that. Howard beat East Ridge easily at howard the game was never in question. And the only person who is out for Howard is Taylor but howard plays as a TEAM. That is something that a lot of teams dont do in Chattanooga but It may be a close game but I doubt if ER will win but anything is possible but they have been playing short handed all season long. they win because of discipline and good coaching but they do play good at ER but I dont think they have a chance with wells jacking up shots all over the court against athletes that get after you like howard has. This was a big post over the summer but no one said anything after they played why all of a do u bring this up and you were one of the main people who commented on ER being better than Howard

East Ridge has a good shooter in Wells and has a very overrated bigman in Jurick. Howard beat ER by 20 and they have yet to play with all of their starters and their six man they play Austin East Friday that should be a tough match up for them because it is a rivalry game and AE always bring it. Not to mention they keep a lil home Cookin up there in Knoxville
