Well im not saying that back in the day he wasnt a good coach but the game has changed. But times are changing and just talking to certain people and watching them play it seems as if they dont have many offensive plays and aren't up to date with other teams. And about the talent issue, they have had some good talent come through the past 3 to 4 years but havent done much with it. And this years team is very talented and even the coach has said it so if you doubt what i say then read the On The Ball Magazine. They can all shoot, dribble, and are just pure athletes and play D as well.

The Jo Byrns teams the past couple of years has had talent. The problem is that nothing has come of it. Just wondering some opinons on this major issue.IS it time for the long time coach to retire?

Players that are returning for jo byrns are 33 linebacker/wr aaron yates, 21 te/s kurt reeves, 7qb/db shane spann, 1 rb/db orlando taylor, 63 ot/dt brett worsham, 56 ot/de michael corbin

I really don't like any of the underdogs execpt Cascade i think since they got beat it will light a fire under them, and they will pull out the win

I know jo byrns is a good football team but they arent deserving of a #1 rating in the state. They have played no one and they always choke about the 3rd round. Im not hating on them but until they win the big game, i just dont see them going very far. By what ive seen they aren't NEAR as talented as teams past. They may prove me wrong but i have my opinion.I think this game will be a close one and im not very familiar with MtCS but i think Jo Byrns wins but thats just because MTCS is a first year team. Im going 24-14. Good luck to both teams

Well I'm not disagreeing with the mistakes and turnovers but I no for a fact that the team is getting it together.THey had a big meeting in school where all the captains and players got everything straight. I disagree with the statement about the players not wanting to win a championship. Looks are deceiving. Just because you are not hooping and hollering don't mean you don't want to win a championship.Jo Byrns has never been especially the past 5 or 6 years been a team to be loud. They just go out and do their business and get the job done.

I am pretty sure that if you don`t have jo byrns in the top five you are crazy, have you not seen what they have done over the past 2 years

they made it to the 3rd round and got beat by mt. pleasant, in that game jo byrns ran all over them but marco daliey ran even more

hopefully in the be another face off between 2 undefeated teams

Jo Byrns will be the winner of the region last year cascade was suspossed tp have beat jbs and what happened, when they play next year will will be a closer game but i think jbs will win again and repeat as region champions

Jo Byrns has probaly the best spann at qb can run or throw, poole is a is a force at fullback, and taylor will be stepping in at rb he is very fast and has really good moves
