Maybe, i didnt see them get clobbered by Shelbyville so i dont know if they just had an off game or not. But yeah, they are up there if not at the top.

Upperman Lady Bees

It's been hard for anyone to play with Upperman this year. I would like to see them in a close game though.

Upperman wins games with their press and very tough D. And yes, very few teams who play them can go without geting a 10 sec call. If you play them in a zone, they can and WILL shoot you out of it. If you play man they WILL blow by you for layups. Their post game isnt as strong as it could be but they do have a 6'3'' freshman who can play. When you see them run out you may not be that impressed but you will be in for a rude awakening. They have 4 or 5 seniors i tink but their best player is a sophomore. I just dunno about LA...they are a tough gritty team that finds ways to win...there's not much to say about them excpt keep them off the offensive boards because they can kill you from that area. I think they are also a senior laden team but i cant guarantee that.

Station Camp was good enough to beat Dekalb, ill give them credit, but when they play LA they will have to play on a whole different level than they did saturday, LA is deeper and much larger and more physical than Dekalb and has a deeper bench. SC will have a bit more trouble trying to wear the Wildcats down than they did with the tigers.

Yeah RBS showed that they werent prepared last night...Leonard probably had the worst game of the season but everyone else made a run to get to within three but C-Range clamped down again and pulled it out. Coach White just needs to play a few tougher teams and get his girls prepared for games like this. Overall though, it was a good physical game. Good luck Lady Buffs. And RBS, just keep looking ahead becuase you will always be a contender when #52 steps on the floor.

Not knocking the teams that they will play in substate but LA and Upperman will both go to the state tourney this year, its just their year. I think Upperman will then charge to the championship game and get their coveted gold ball. BUT if LA manages to upset them, then state is wide open...this is just how i see it...

LA is pretty good and have beaten the Lady Bees in LA, but Upperman is easily the favorite. But if you watch LA play someone, and then watch Upperman play that same team, you find yourself wondering how LA stays within 20 points. I know ive found myself wondering that more than once. LA's coach prepares her girls i guess...but you'll have a hard time finding a better coach than Dana McWilliams from Upperman.

Gordonsville played tough and thats all you can ask for when you have somebody like Jim Brown running the other team. The tigerettes didnt use their speed to their advantage enough though. When they did drive, they got a layup or a foul called so why go away from that when you are behind by 4 with two minutes left in the game? G-ville had a brain lapse, they had their chance to pull the upset and didnt capitalize.

Upperman wins this easy and finally shows its the best team in TN. Watch out state tourney, here come the Lady Bees!

C-Range gets the region title and cruises into the state tourney. I was rootin for ya lady buffs im glad you proved my prediction wrong!

There are gonna be some dogfights next year between LA and DC for the top spot in the district. These wont be games anyone will wanna miss!

Looks like UHS won big. 70-something to 20-something. Cant remember the exact scores but i think this will dispel any beliefs that the Lady Bees are going to hit another postseason slump that has plagued them the past couple of years. Looks like they're gonna dominate the boro...hopefully.

Actually she's slimmed down a lil bit from her middle school days...maybe that's just her gettin taller though because i think she was only listed at 6'6'' last year. Now she's 6'8''...

Overall youth may come back to haunt c-range. They will win state next year though, just watch! RBS by 5...

#1-Kayci has an awesome chance to head to UT. I dont even know why people are trying to say that she doesnt. #2-People are talking about her beinng dominated by smaller post players...obviously this isnt happening or her numbers wouldnt look like they do. Yes she will have bad games, people only forget that she is only 14 or 15 years old! And to compare her to Candace Parker is just foolish. Parker is probably the best player that the women's game has ever seen, period. Anyone who watches the Duke women will see a future version of Kayci in the Bales girl. Kayci may not end up with the overall size, but she has the height now and about the same skill set. People need to get off of her case because i know as well as they do that they would give anything to have her on their team.

Looks like DC is finally pulling thing together. This is a good time for that to happen too!

I dont even have a horse in Laken's race. But i have watched the kid. Extra year or not it doesnt matter about her points. She is dominant. I find it funny when people say that she scored nearly or just over 500 of her points last year. That makes them look quite foolish because if they want to down her thats the last thing they should bring up. An 8TH grader scoring 500 points is amazing and they are trying to play it off as the reason for her current success. Ha, she played last year for a reason: she's probably the best post player in A. She was last year too and thats why she scored 500 points. Laken for Miss Basketball Class A 06-07.

How do you explain Stinson getting it from your school last year? They were in fourth place during the regular season. Smith County girls placed third for the regular season and thats what is looked at, not the tourney. She is the best player. If she wasnt, like i have already said, she wouldnt be a miss basketball finalist.
