  1. Well it was a championship game and emotions were running high Andrew and Jono weren't the only ones reacting to calls so was Howard. But it don't matter anyway its in the past, Andrew had to sit in his brother's last high school game, their season is over now. But hats off to Howard and Brainerd those are two terrific teams, that both beat a great team in Hixson. I hope whoever makes it to substate represent Chatt well. I just want to congratulate Hixson on the tremendous season they had. Us students at Hixson have ncknamed them the Adversity Killers. Cause they went through everything from losing star players to rival schools, to losing players to grades, to injuries, to losing their coach, losing star players in important games, and a list of never ending controversy behind the locker room doors. This season will strengthen them in more than just basketball but in life and their better for it. I wouldn't trade my team for any team in the state. They were led by great young men, Courtney Dozier and Colton Green as co-captains and captain Jonathan Hilton. Noone knows this but he will go on to the next level he has to much passion not too. Andrew will definately move on to bigger and better things and will lead his team next year. Good job wildcats, you made us proud!!
  2. Yea it wasn't their point guard, it was the shooting guard Andrew Hilton.
  3. Haha no just close friends. If you were at the game last night then there's no way you can call that justified, especially after what the Howard player did.
  4. Yes he did get four fouls in one trip down the floor. They called a foul on him they took the ball out and passed it in and they called another horrible foul on him. The first tech was minute but seemed like he was looking for a reaction and how could he not react when you get two quick ticky tack fouls called on you in a row. The ref put his whistle in his mouth and Hilton's brother came and calmed him down Andrew turned around with a small arm motion , while a Howard player bumped into him might I add, and the ref T'd him up. Then Andrew simply put his arms up in a confused way, then put them down and turned away and that's when the worst tech I've ever seen was called. And if you want to call that justified, then why did the Howard player # 34 go off ranting in the 3rd quarter about a foul and actually cursed and said something to the ref, not get tech called on him? When Jonathan HIlton brought it to the refs attention the ref looked like he wanted to tech Hilton up. This is a prime example of why it's hard to beat Howard in a championship, cause not only are they talented but everyone, specifically refs fear them.
  5. Sounds like those Districts were insane. All I know of is about Chattanooga, and in the city the past 4 years especially district 6-AA have had the hardest competition and best teams, although notnning a title. they make the other district in their region (5-AA) look horrible cause after the top 2 teams its pure garbage. Even this year it's the same any of the 6-AA county teams can be a top 4 in 5-AA's district. although the single A teams have repped well for Chatt, Their competition is needless to say like taking candy from a baby.
  6. Looks like a pretty good list . . . Who decides that? Andre himself?
  7. How do you find out? And who decides who makes it?
  8. Who made the all district team? And All region team for this talented region?
  9. True very true. If CCS is healthy there won't be much comp between them and Grundy. I believe Sequatchie has East Ridge, and Howard plays whoever the winner of ND and Bledsoe was. What are the first rounds for 5-AA
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if Marion Co. surprised some people. But I think Howard will walk to the championship. CCS and Hixson will have challenging first rounds, but the most exciting game to watch will be the Semi-finals between CCS and Hixson always a fun game. (If they make it) . . . but it sounds like McMinn and Brainerd will skate through their district into the region. Who knows about the championship game in 6-AA.
  11. CSAS cheerleaders hold it down.
  12. There's a number of different teams that can make it. But one thing is obvious is that district 5 is so much weaker than district 6 . . . as a whole.
  13. From what it looks like, the situation at Hixson is very complicated and tough on everybody. He was appointed as the coach and is not even getting paid so he's doing everything he can. The bottom line is the boys play the game. All the coaches do their best to prepare the boys for the games but the most important thing is being there for them in a positive way off the court. To be honest it seems like the players do most of the coaching particular the captain and PG. But whatever their doing it's working. But the game was an exciting and fun atmosphere the crowd was into it. And once again Hixson continues their win streak!!
  14. Definately better than Stephen that's one name I should have said. Basketball 09 must have some sort of really good reason to say this very exaggerrated statement of the best point guard being Stephen. He is very good but not the best.
  15. I can see completely why you say the two hustlin tigers are on their expecially cause of how successful their team is. But to say that Stephen Cook is the best point guard by far the city has, is a little far fetched. There are plenty of obvious names that can go in front of him and some very underrated players also. First and foremost is Jeremy Sexton he can score better shoot better and defense menacing but may not have the unselfsh part down. And underrated players like Hixson's point guard, Jonathan Hilton is better than him. He can shoot pretty well and passes amazingly. He has good defense but may not be AS QUICK as Stephen. If he wanted could be the leading scorer on his team but allows his brother to lead in that area. He is a pure floor general and runs the team since their coach is gone and are on a ten game winning streak. Also Brandon Herman from Grace is a beast and only is a Sophomore.
  16. Well last time Howard played at Hixson, Hixson kept it close til they had to start fouling and Hixson always plays good against Howad so I'm not sure how fair it is that they caught them on an off night. Hixson played great defense against them. It wasn't necessarily an off night Hixson has just been playing good since they were upset by Grundy and have a no lose attitude
  17. Well I'm surprised that the Chattanooga Warriors aren't even mentioned. They beat the TN Heat up in Clarksville. And because they beat the heat, a few players from there tried to fight our players and one of them picked up a pole and tried to hit a old man with it. We were shown no respect up there and our last lost had the whole gym rooting against us even teams we killed. They booed at every shot and mistake. Obviously this is jealousy and I think they should be mentioned under the states top teams.
  18. We have a great team with the best guards, shooters, combo guards, small forwards, in the city just searching for a dominant big man to complete this all-star squad. Anyone interested call Trin Suttles at 423.313.0238
  19. What area does he live in? I have a team but it is 17U called Chattanooga Warriors. We are looking for another big man of that size. It would benefit him to play up with an older age. For more information contact Trin Suttles 423.313.0238.
  20. Thank you very much. . . . and more would be appreciated.
  21. Can anyone help the Chattanooga Warriors or any other teams find some College exposure tournaments? Please and thank you
  22. Has anyone seen that little white kid from Hixson? I think his older brother is the one they talked about at the beggining of this post in 2003. But this kid is the same way except you might get flashes of his and1 dribbling when they're holding the ball. He'll shake a lot of people out of their socks. His name is Johnno Hilton I think? or Jono
  23. LIE!!!!! Howard will not beat Hixson by 10+ Satterfield hasn't been scoring that much CONSISTENTLY. . . and Hixson missed about 15 free throws + so I doubt Howard will be beating Hixson by double digits.
  24. Oh I'm not downin nobody. . . I think Howard is definately one of the best in the city, but I'm just saying Hixson is better than ND they just had a bad game against CCS just like Howard had a bad game against Tyner. And Howard is better but not too much better than Hixson.
  25. It's the same situation with the Howard vs. Tyner game and the CCS vs. Hixson game Howard played probably their worst game and Tyner played their best. Hixson played one of the worst games they'll ever play and CCS played their best they'll probably ever play. Hixson only lost to Howard by 2. . . and they missed 18 free throws . . . which was VERY unusual. But Hixson is a lot better than Notre Dame..
