Actually, and corect me if I am wrong- but when you hire a guy at the end of a season and then fire him before the season begins (for any reason really) I am pretty sure worldwide that would be considered a "bad hire". Also for the principle to be the one in charge of this makes him out to be not so intelligent...he comes in not knowing anyone hires a new guy only then to fire him...makes him look pretty dumb. I also am pretty sure that skogan left because he didn't think temple was even going to be able to field a team- he saw the only possible way for that to happen was illegally- which apparently has happened. in order for his son to play he had to be on a team with enough people, and a team that had not cheated to get those people... I just hope that the basketball program does not suffer...any violations in the athletic department were because of the football team...and those who have recently taken it over..including the principal, that eldridge fellow- the ex-head coach who never was, and so on...none of the kids who truly contributed to a state championship either in '02 '03 or '07 were from anywhere other than temple since at least 9th grade (most having gone to temple since elementary school...)

Lazy and out of control? not sure how those two make sense...usually out of control people aren't lazy, and vice versa- but whatever... If you have seen seth play any in the district or region and sectional- you would not have seen any thing resembling lazy....he has played his best defense in the tourney....

I apologize for not making it any clearer that I was being extremely sarcastic....temple might not win a region game... In fact i would put a whole lot of money on it!!!!

What are his numbers this year? What year is williams...I didn't hear anything about culleoka in football, and definitely never heard of demario williams in regard to being a football player- how big is he- what is his 40 time? I don't want to come off as challenging I am really just curious- he must be a great athlete....

Temple will win the region- they are lead by the dominant coach chastain, and the amazing recruiting efforts he has done, his amazing knowledge of the game...yea temple will win the region...2 years in a row!!!

First of all let me say how glad I was to see that CSAS won their sectional game and made it to the state tourney- that makes chatt-town look good as well as region 3 ball- congrats to CSAS... In defense of hargis- why would he predict CSAS to win when they got beat by 40+ and 30+ by Temple- another team in the state tourney....granted temple only beat them by 12 in the regions- but if anyone was at the game they will know that Temple played TERRIBLE like 25 turnovers...that hasn't happened to Temple all year...granted CSAS was playing well and still is....but I think those simple facts lead to his bias and "anti" CSAS whatever... Not mentioning Howard was because he talked about Liberty- and how they haven't gotten beat in state all year and have won their last like 15 games by 30 points... so they are probably the favorite....

uh, first of all, he couldn't shut him down, second of all don't they play completely different different positions I thought that deMario was a pg? Blackburn- what are demario's stats- skogen's are around 22 pts, 9.8 rebs 4.5 assists: steals and blocked shots im not sure.... but i'd say that he is pretty well rounded, That's rough being injured for a large part of the season, what colleges are interested in williams? Before skogen signed to play football with Furman he had a high level of interest from UT, Stanford, and UAB-for basketball so i'd say that is decent...

Single a- seth skogan averages over 23 pts a game 10 rebounds a game several games of 30+ last night 52 pts holds school career points record and single game record mr. basketball finalist last year.... straight A student!!

yea and when your dad is the coach that sure takes away from the fact that he missed like 6 shots all night..... (sarcasm) he had like 45 after 3 quarters...he teammates wanted him to break the single game record so they got him the ball for like 3-4 more shots which he knocked down in 3 minutes and then he was on the bench...but you can go ahead and slam him...or his dad whenever people who are good do great things jealous morons always open their mouths....

Seth Skogen scored 52 points tonight....the kid hit 10 threes and probably only shot like 15 or something...I haven't seem a kid shoot like that since....I actually can't remember I don't even remember him missing a shot from the floor!! So what is skogen averaging....it is never in the paper... the kid has got to be around 25 points.... how many rebounds does he average? I believe he set the school record for points in a game.... He should have the career points record after this season seeing as how he has started varsity for 4 years.... Single a- he is a shoe in for a mr. basketball finalist and my pick to win it!!!

Agreed....in a dismal night for Temple's offense- 7 turnovers and 4 coming inside FC's 25 yrd. line....seth was the only sign of life and the only one who did anything....I think even FC has a new respect for the best player in the state single a!!!

No- you idiot... I'm saying that the Temple fullback did NOTHING against TC- so why do you worry about him??? Are you not as good as TC- (this is obviously not the case but I am just trying to get you to think a little bit...)
