  1. Parker, Edgar, and Allen r u kiddin me. Watch the licks they dish out the next few weeks, and you'll change ur mind. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  2. QUOTE(Antwan @ Sep 25 2007 - 10:13 PM) You score more in the 2nd half because it's usually been against the other team's subs when the game is out of reach. I don't think that will happen Friday because of SC's depth. ROFL! Whitehouse had there 1st string in the whole time, just so you know. Oh,and Pearl Cohn, and Trousdale,oh oh,and even Westmoreland. Thought I'd let you in on that one. White House had their starters out with 6 mins. left in the 2nd quarter when it was 34-0. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. 41-0 with 2 mins. left in the 1st half , without r three of our biggest head busters out, i'm not sayin we would win but i would love 2 see it.
  4. Edgar and Allen r both comin bak in the next 2 weeks, dramatic chnages for the positive 4 us. Wish we could play Alcoa again.
  5. Beech ruins their homecoming every year by scheduling White House. Maybe they'll learn one day. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> WHHS-35 Beech-21
  6. i counted 5 at the minimum of interceptions in the 1st half, then i went home /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  7. WH- 36 Macon-14 (hopefully will have another 459 yds. of total offense again this week) /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  8. I'm pretty sure last year's loss is fresh on the minds of everyone affiliated with BDP. Wouldn't wanna be Macon Co. friday.
  9. yery true singray, and obviously u know what ur talkin about, because every year wh starts out slow, but by the end they're a totally different team. you'll get ur 28+ WH-40 Springfield-12

You don't? Tell me that after the Pearl game.
  11. I didn't really think we played that bad honestly. 1st possession, get to the Alcoa 10 yard line, and miss a fg. Alcoa's next possession had the qb sacked for a 10 yd. loss but escaped from two people and got a 1st down. Of course they score again. Next possession greenwade makes a great play out of a fumble and we go into Alcoa territory, dixon fumbles next play and they score again, that's when it was said and done. Overall our defense just couldn't compete with the speed of Alcoa's backs, without Parker, Allen, and Neal we just weren't near as fast. Even if we had everyone we still would've been beaten, but it would have been closer. We aren't all the way clickin yet for some reason, the offense has plenty of weapons but we aren't executing our blocks as well as we should, and no longer have the cutback runner in Ricky Ladd who could create something out of nothing. The Paynes and Dixon have plenty of speed and talent but just don't have the experience yet. Congrats to Alcoa, obviously the best team in 2A and maybe 3A, but are open-zone so have a definite advantage over White House. If this game is played in 6 weeks with everyone back and its @ White House would be interesting. Give our players and coaches time week 2 just ended, vs. the 3 time defending state champ, plenty of time left 2 get it together, and will still be contending strong for the 3A title.
  12. QUOTE(Mannythemanager @ Sep 6 2007 - 02:33 PM) How much of a metaphorical 'David vs. Goliath' is this? I mean, is it really gonna be that bad? Am I jumping ship when I say that I think that this will be a 'good game'? Should I even come all the way out to east TN just so I can watch my Blue Devils get powned? Decisions, decisions... I honestly think its will a close game.. but thats not the general consensus on here, but its ok.. How big of an upset would it be if White House pulled this one out? Are we talkin' Michigan/Appalachian St.?? Michigan/Appalachian St it's not...why would anyone think that a veteran White House team is an underdog to a "very" young Alcoa team? Alcoa has a lot of talent, but they also have some holes to fill. I saw alot of bright spots last week and I was very proud of their effort however the team is taking it one game at a time and not looking over any team as they pursue another state title. Coach Rankin knows the White House program well and will have his team prepared, but the young guys (frosh and sophs) will have to step up and mature as the season progresses and they enter regional play. As I see it I think that Randall will have a break away game, I look for both Brian and Sam to make plays and they will pound the ground game(Troy and crew). I look for a very hard hitting game, but White House will have to deal with alot of speed at so many positions. With that said I think your trip up East will be well worth your time and money. We r far from veteran, we r jus as young as alcoa.
  13. It's not just parker (wr/s) best player, also akers (startin dt/te) strongest person on team, allen (fb/lb) leadin rusher from last year, edgar(would've been great), poindexter, this is not good. 5 starters gone for a majority of the season. but if a team has depth, it's us. we gotta show it this week. WH-28 Alcoa-20
  14. Light should definetly be on the field somewhere soon, he's got good size and is a great athlete, must find a spot somewhere.
  15. he sure did, he didn't know what happened
  16. You guys r crazy, #1 we kneeled pn the 1 yard line with 20 seconds left in the game, it would've neen 27-6, #2 2 plays before that dixon had a 20 yard t.d. run called back. # 3 the reason portland had so many fumbles is because they got the wood layed onto them and couldn't hold the ball. They didn't just drop the ball for no reason they were gettin smashed and had no choice. #4 WH had 3 interceptions and i believe 4 fumbles, that's alot of turnovers created. Next week will be a great challenge vs. Alcoa. WHHS-28 Alcoa-20
  17. cancelled again due 2 heat. at least Beech is happy lol.
  18. I've never honestly seen fans from another county make as many posts on a different teams topic as the smith county fans have on white house's topics. It's very obvious that they are just thrilled to death that they beat whhs in a scrimmage by 4 points, i mean it may have evn made their season and it ain't even started yet. LOL we as whhs fans should be happy that when a team beats us they are thrilled to death that they beat us, exspecially in a scrimmage. LOL But anyways we r lookin better everyday, beech is up next, we jus gotta keep gettin better and better as we go, and i'm sure we will. this team is loaded with talent at every position and i hope they keep it up.
  19. Yes he did, I think he also went on 2 play football for Vanderbilt.
  20. Big Country and tim this year don't even respond to people like this and eventually they will jus quit postin. I really do honestly think we'll beat alcoa. From what i understand they're all about speed and if that's the case then we're faster. Jus think about it, we gotta have the best recievers in the state in 3A with parker, barnes, neal, fulgham, and so on. I heard that not 1 single lineman is playin both ways, 4 fresh on d and 5 on offense, that's very impressive. 3 great rb's in the payne's and dixon. and in my honest non-biased opinion the most talented defense (preseason) in 3A in Tennessee. I said last year all year they would make it 2 state in b-ball and no one believed me, and sure enough they did it the hard way. i'm not even sure big country did, but i'm telling you guys now that this White House team is the real deal. Great coaching and great players is what this team is about for the next couple years, the only thing about it is WHHS tams get better as the year goes on, but i i promise u these players are not scared of alcoa one bit, and i got 'em 24-14. ANd if this game was week 10 @ WHHS i say 28-10.
  21. 1. White House 2. Pearl Cohn 3. Greenbrier 4. Station Camp 5. Sycamore 6. Macon Co 7. Dekalb Co
