I think it's a good idea. I know of a team that even though the defense is dawging them they still managed to run up to 3 minutes at a time off the clock just by running a dribble weave. That just proves that the 5-sec count doesn't really matter. This team does this just about every game and it gets boring quick! Having a shot clock would help control the tempo of the game.

I went to watch Tellico and Howard on Friday and ther was a pretty good crowd, but i have been traveling to Cleveland to watch Tellico and other teams in that district about every night and there has been the same crowd. I guess my point is TSSAA is coming out about the same or maybe a little more on the gates just from what I saw. So I guess I am in between there are pros and cons to having the game at "home-court" or neutral

I don't know about it being difficult to be successful in Monroe County because didn't Coach Meadows who coaches at William Blount coach there and had a pretty good season.
