Congratulations to Coach Meyer. He is a good coach. He put in a lot of work with my son who admires him and has a lot of respect for him.

First, I hope Keith Perry (qb #10) is okay. He was taken away on a stretcher. Congratulations Burros!!!!!! It has been a pleasure watching you this year. See you next year.

I can't take it anymore. I have to say something. You have posted all season that the 2006 team didn't trust each other and did not trust the coaches. You have also said that they did not play as a team. There are players on the 2006 team that felt that if they had played under Coach Blade's system longer, they woud have had enough experience using that system to win the state championship game. 2006 team you did good. You went into the state championship game in 2006 undefeated. The year that you made it, you had to adjust to new coaches and a new system. I think the results of how hard you worked is evidenced by making it to the state championship game. Also, members of the team socialized outside of practice so they were friends. My son played on the 2006 and the 2007 teams. There were some things that I will NOT discuss here that caused a weakness on the 2006 and 2007 team. But, I just did not see the things you are saying. I feel that the current team may be better than the 2006 and 2007 team for the same reasons that the 2006 and 2007 players felt could have brought them a state championship win. 1. Coach Blade is the only coach that have worked with the players. The seniors have had three years of experience doing things the Blade way. 2. Conditioning - Coach Blade and his coaches came in with a commitment to conditioning. The amount of time spent conditioning prior to Coach Blade can't even begin to compare with what Coach Blade has implemented. I think Hillsboro willl give Maryville a good game. I want the Burros to win. I will be in the BORO.

Wow!!! Henry County fans you have changed my mine about you. I was in Henry County when the Burros played in the semi-final there in 2006. I enjoyed my trip there and felt the fans were great. But, because you didn't win the game this year, you insult our facilities and you insult the Hillsboro fans. When I was there in 2006, I really did not consider your facilities to be that great. We had to sit on some horrible (I guess rental) benches that must have been the cheapest that you could rent because they felt like they were going to cave in at anytime. I do not remember you having any kind of luxury bathroom facilities. You have a certain arrogance about your team and yourselves, but your team cannot back up your smack talk. Look at who they played during this season; 1 - team that was 0-9; 2 - teams that were 1 - 9; 3 teams that were 3-8; a class 2A team. I really felt that Henry County would beat Hillsboro becasue I knew that you were beating opponents by huge margins but did not check out who you were beating until a few days before the semi-final game when I looked at your schedule here on Coacht and looked at the schedule of your opponents to see their win-loss record. That is when I realized, Hillsboro could just win this game. Your putting your team on such a high pedastal and underestimating the Hillsboro team has really brought out a lot of nastiness on your part. You say that the Hillsboro fans had no class, but these posts by you, Henry County fans, shows who has no class. Good luck to your players who will be moving on to the next level.

GOING TO THE STATE

There is also a new shopping center a few blocks down from the Green Hills Mall called The Hill Center. Has a lot of upscale stores. It is not a mall but an outdoor shopping center. Some of the stores located there are Anthropologie, West Elm, Whole Foods, Pei Wei, and many others. Oops, this is not a shopping chat site, so, let me get back to football. I was at the HC vs HHS football game in 2006. I really enjoyed my visit to HC. I loved the atmosphere with the tailgating, the radio broadcast, and the way the fans supported the football team. I know you will be in Nashville in full force and I can't wait to watch what should be a very exciting football game. GO BURROS!!!!

Did you attend the Maplewood vs. Beech game? Do you consider Maplewood's offensive line not to be huge?

Is it really help? Didn't Hillsboro beat Maplewood this year? In the four years that I have watched Hillsboro play, the only time Maplewood won was in last year's playoffs and it was not because of fantastic game strategy on Maplewood's part but due to mistakes by Hillsboro.

When I am at work and I get bored, I log on to Coacht to see what Boski has to say about Hillsboro. Even when Hillsboro is not playing Maplewood, he's on threads about Hillsboro talking trash. I get a really good laugh (sometimes out loud) and then go back to working. I will miss the Hillsboro - Maplewood rivalry.
