Actually my man, you are pretty pitiful to come on coacht and rub whether somone has won a ring or not in their face. These are kids playing and out of the 4 teams only 2 will go on to the state and only 1 will win the ring, do NOT get on here and detract from any of these kids success by making it as far as they have. That tells me that you are either a teenager getting on here to get attention or a very immature adult which is really sad.....

Ok, I see now, it was at Sullivan South against Marion Co. My bad, I was about to say that would have been very very impressive. I am sure they are still very good but a good 4A w/ the depth that 4A teams have to get beat by a 1A team would be a nice accomplishment. Good luck in the semis this week.....

Ok MP87, I am not a JBS guy so fire away if you must. I have enjoyed the crow that I have had to eat the last couple of weeks as well. Also, correction, I did not say that MP could not win a semifinal game, only that they have not to this point. What they did last year at this point failed miserably, I was at the game last nite and if a team gets a couple of scores up on MP they are in trouble b/c of their long, time consuming drives/ kind of style. My opinion or anyone else's opinion on here is just pure speculation, only the coaches truly know these players and believe me I realize that. They are in the best position to play the style that gives them the best chance to win and if I was on that coaching staff if the head coach told me that is what he wanted to do, I may voice my concerns and if he still wanted to do what he wanted then I would do everything I could to help make it work.....

I was just wondering, is that 4A Sullivan South who has only lost 1 game and is playing Maryville this week in the 4A semifinals? Also Brainerd is a 4A play-off team as well.....

They do seem to be awfully proud of beating that 1A team; maybe that is why they lost in the 2A play-offs, b/c they were satisfied w/ beating mTp.....

I agree; yall didnt get to see what Taylor could do for a couple of reasons: 1.) JBS didnt have the ball long enough to sustain any kind of running game. 2.) JBS was 10+ points behind the majority of the game and had to spread it out and throw the ball to try and catch up. I understand why you may feel that Morris was better; 1 game is just not enough to tell for sure.

Well you are getting closer, heres another hint, we beat McMinn Central in the finals who had upset Marion Co the week b/4. We won the game 28-6.....

Nah, I am a few years older, but WH was in our region and we had to beat them in the semis to get to the finals.....

I am not from any of the teams in 1A, I was part of a team that won the 3A state title when I played and I am just saying dont declare a champion b/4 the game has been played. With all the upsets in football this year we all should know that.....lol

That was the play of the game which is unfortunate b/c 1 kid was way off-sides which obviously was not called. I dont mind the refs missing penalties but a game changer like that agravates me. I am not saying JBS would have won the game had it been called but the game would have been much better than it was.....

MP has a great team w/ an abundance of athletes and like I said a couple of weeks ago doing the same thing over and over again got them to the semi-finals last year where they were beaton badly. If they do the exact same thing this year and get beat once again that tells me that what they have done the last couple of years will only get them to the semis. If they are content w/ that then so be it..... I am hoping to make it to this game; at this point I really do not care who wins this game as long as whoever it is beats the team from the east b/c I am tired of hearing them claim that they have already won the title.....

Hillsboro has virtually the same team they had last year but only better. Granted HC is better than they were last year when they lost 42-6 (correct me if I am wrong) they will not beat Hillsboro. Dont get me wrong I believe they will make a better game out of it this year but the results will be the same..... If it even happens: Hillsboro - 35 Henry Co. - 17

From what I have seen, Morris was more agile/shifty than Taylor but Taylor is bigger, faster, and stronger I believe. Although Tayor is very effective on screen passes, I would give Morris a slight edge there but Taylor is better b/t the tackles. Either way they both contribute/contributed to the offense equally IMHO.....

and a new loss for Maplewood, at the hands of hillsboro yet again.....

I guess it is time for me to pick a winner/score for this game. I believe there will be a few points scored in this game. I do not believe that JBS defense will be able to stop Marco but I do believe that they will be able to hold him back just enough for their very potent offense to out score them. JBS - 34 mTp - 28 This is just a guess, the score could easily be the other way around. Good luck to both teams and I am looking foward to a great game.....

He has more than lived up to the offer even if he isnt the most dangerous reciever he is still a solid possesion guy. I respect your opinion but this is an ignorant post IMHO.....
