I seen Tate play a few times in HS and he was no doubt a great talent. He is not the best I have seen in TN though. I am going to go w/ just HS football and not count college or pros b/c there is a countless list of players you could choose from. Great post; I can defintely see him in that offense and I agree that he could run it just as good as White which is a pretty bold statement but I still stand by it anyway. He could also be effective in the Missouri and Kansas systems as well.....

The last game I saw Cobb play was last on on UPN in the state title game and I believe he is the best QB in the state, atleast that I have seen anyway..... As far as best in the state, I havent seen everyone in the state so I cant say for sure, Cobb is defintely on the top half of the list anyway.....

I heard that UK offered Cobb specifically to play defensive back, not sure if it is true. I did however hear Mason was told he would have a shot at QB if he committed to UK. I personally believe that Cobb is better than Mason, and that includes at QB.....

You may have gone to games but you havent watched much football b/c nothing you say ever makes sense. Its 1 thing to state opinions but you come on here, give a ridiculus score, and then talk about how 1 team got lucky and had fluke games. That sounds like a ten year old spouting off at the mouth to me. If you actually gave an analysis about why you thought a team would win and explain yourself I would have much more respect for your opinion.....

I went back read over the clippings again and there was no mention of him having the flu in the ones I have. They played like 9 other games that saeson (including the play-offs) so it could have happenned in of of them or in the previous season.....

I agree 100% about selling out to stop Marco; even if someone else stepped up and had a big night to beat you guys or Marco beat you w/ his arm. I would do everything in my power to make sure he didnt beat us w/ his legs. That is much easier said than done though.....

I am curious on how Cascade and Wayne Co. posters feel about this game b/c they have played both teams and should have a good view. So lets hear it and try to have no region bias towards who you feel will actually win, I know its hard but atleast try.....

I am not from MP or anything, this is just how I see it and most of the mTp posters have been jumping my case about this particular belief and are very happy w/ the system they presently have. Also, not to take anything away from their coach, he brought that team from 0-10 to 10-0 in 2 seasons when he took over the job and he has had plenty of success. It is just my opinion, but I feel they dont use all of their athletes to their maximum potential and if they did there is no telling how good they could be.....

I understand alot of what you said but 35-21 really is not that bad..... I mean was the score not 28-21 at some point in the 4th quarter..... I mean congrats on the win and all but come on guys you dont have to rub it in, you guys remember how it felt the last couple of years when your season ended. Also there is a big possibility that it could end this year as well w/ a loss.....

Believe it or not mTp does have player makers all over the field but they only choose to use 1. So you are right, SP probably would win b/c they use their guys to their full potential.....

Although I agree that a different system would better maximize more athletes on the mTp team, I am not saying that the system they have now is not a good 1 or that it has not had any success at all b/c it obviously has. I am just saying that a different system or a more versital 1 would be better suited to bring mTp a gold ball which I personally believe they have the talent to do. Having said that, they could very well win the gold ball w/ the system they have, I just dont think they will IMHO..... I see/get your point and understand why you like the system they run now, I just want to you to see what I am saying even if you do not agree w/ it.....

I want Mckenzie to win b/c if they dont I more than likely will not be going to a game that week..... Having said that, we have heard about Mckenzie all year long and nothing about TCA. I just got a feeling that this is a perfect time for an upset and it just might happen this week. I did go watch one of their regualr season games in 2004 b/c it was close to where I lived and a friend of mine graduated from the school they were playing. I cant remember who it was but mTp won big and they had 2 really good backs and they were just running through this team..... The next year when JBS was doing so well in 2005 and they had to play mTp in the quarters I knew that was the game that was gonna tell if JBS was for real or just not playing anybody.....
