  1. I actually got a chance to watch Booker play as an 8th grader when he was living in middle TN. Amazing athelete, the Wolverines should really benefit from this addition.
  2. I didn't say anything about seniors. I like to think that my level of intelligence is at least at a level which allows me to understand that seniors won't be playing anymore ball after a state championship game. I was making a point that you would never see any Lipscomb player refuse to shake hands after a loss. I apologize for not making myself clear.
  3. You wanna clarify that one? You lost me. I was making a point about how Lipscomb players show class, or they would not be a member of the team.
  4. From all I have heard Fulton has a class program, and I am willing to cut a 17/18 year old some slack after losing a state championship game. It doesn't make him classless, even though it might have been a poor decision. Any of us who have been there know how he was feeling. Addressing the issue of Lipscomb players not shaking hands if they had lost, that would not have happened. If you're playing for Coach Mac, you shake your opponents hand after the game, or you'll be watching the next game from the stands.
  5. Ruse. I appreciate your and everyone else's insight into this game. As a Lipscomb grad, the only time I have ever seen Fulton play was in last year's championship game. I was impressed with their play on the field of course, but what I really loved seeing last year was two tough, talented football teams who play the game with class. Looking forward to another great game this year, although hopefully with a different outcome this time! Wishes for a safe trip to all the Fulton fans traveling.
  6. So Lipscomb is slightly stronger than catholic?
  7. Reading through this thread, i'd just like to compliment the Fulton fans on winning with class and respect, and to the Lipscomb fans for being such gracious losers. i beleive this is a true reflection of both communities, and i have a tremendous ammount of respect for both programs. Congratulations to the Fulton players and coaches, especially the seniors. Congratulations also to Lipscomb and their senior class. I know you're dissapointed at making it this far and coming up short, but one day you will be able to look back and relaize what an accomplishment it is to have the opportunity to represent your school in a State Championship game. here's to two teams who play the game the right way.
  8. I'll pick you up on this one, ball3r.... Freight Train Macadoo has had his name called more than any player in Lipscomb history. Heck of a player. What did he have, something like a 15 year career?
  9. getting a little defensive? Look back through the thread and see what i was refering to as " delusional". It wasn't a knock on any of the teams from east tennessee, I was talking to the fans who were predicting 50 point wins for the teams from east Tn. You don't think that's delusional? There is no team in any of these games who is 50 points better than another. As far as you having 2 championship rings, congratulations. Im sure your mommy is really proud of you. What does that have to do with anything? What does it prove? That teams from the east win championships? way to go road2three, you have cracked the case. No one is disputing that the east has good teams, I'm just saying some fo the score predictions from the east are not going to happen. Why don't you try reading the whole thread next time.
  10. We can only hope that all of the east Tn teams are as ridiculously over confident as their delusional fans are. Go Mustangs and Cougars
  11. Here's to any injury free game on both sides. Leave it on the field, boys. Lipscomb 31 Dyersburg 10
  12. Get Ready, West Tennessee. You'll feel it...... The ground shaking, the rumble. You''ll look around, not sure what you're hearing or feeling......... BOOM. You've just been run over by Mustang Stampede. Get ready.
