  1. Not sure of the Lost Ark code name but will guess Clayton?
  2. The school will open with only 9th-10th graders and play at the JV level next year. The only ones that could follow would be rising sophomores (but they should be zoned Nolensville and leaving RW anyway) as they won't have Jr.-Sr. level classes available for the 2016-17 school year Nolensville was recently approved to join the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association for the 2016-17 school year. The school, which is expected to have 550 students in grades nine and 10, will participate at the junior varsity level in football until the 2017 season.
  3. I heard FR was his landing spot but thought the Hester move might change things. Any word on Centennial candidates?
  4. http://www.franklinhomepage.com/coach-will-hester-leaving-ravenwood-for-nolensville-high-cms-23151#.VnQHP_krK1s
  5. This is from the Bruce Lussier/Father Ryan thread in the Division II forum. Seems like someone knew something four days ago. Posted 4 days ago The next coach of Ryan could come from Centennial.
  6. He gets the itch to move after 4-5 years. If Riverdale opens, look for his name to be mentioned there or at Father Ryan, which is already open.
  7. I would think Centennial belongs somewhere on the list. Their only two losses were to Indy (who is probably the best team, regardless of classification) and gave the 6A champ their only loss.
  8. He also posted here under GoldenDomer. Looks like he has been silenced once again.
  9. I haven't seen SC play so its tough to make an informed decision. However, Indy is the real deal and easily handed Centennial their only two losses on the year. As a measure, Centennial gave 6A finalist Ravenwood their only loss on the year.
  10. Don't see MSU on this list. http://data.tallahassee.com/recruit/athlete/andrew-bunch-tennessee-2016-football/
  11. Game preview. Looks like the rain may hold off. http://www.williamsonherald.com/sports/article_e97a4f5c-9406-11e5-b89b-43ee5d96c21a.html
  12. For those who may have holiday conflicts or don't want to sit in the rain that is predicted for Friday night. 7:00 - High School Football "Centennial at Independence" LIVE
  13. Centennial pressured the QB into six interceptions that night. He made some terrible decisions, throwing the ball up for grabs when he should have taken the sack. I'm sure that has been corrected but he got rattled in that game. Don't get in a kicking contest with them because they have one of the best in the state.
  14. Other than my subdivision being in the Centennial zone, I don't have a connection to the school. I just enjoy HS sports and try to see the local teams play. This year I've seen BGA, Page, Franklin, Brentwood, Ravenwood, Indy and obviously Centennial. Because of proximity, I see more Centennial games than the others and caught the first HC game as well as all three playoff games.
  15. In the 6A semis next week against Whitehaven. Centennial gave them their only loss for the year. Southwind actually played CHS much closer than Ravenwood.
  16. HC was the fourth best team Centennial played. Indy, Ravenwood and Southwind would be the top three.
  17. They certainly did but the Centennial D was even better. Allowed 185 total yards and stuffed HC's only real chance on the 4th and goal play. There was a stretch in the third quarter where HC started three consecutive drives on the Centennial side of the 50 but they never really threatened to score. The two pick sixes sealed the deal.
  18. Game summary. http://www.williamsonherald.com/sports/article_9d268a1e-9012-11e5-8f29-9f7419b0ff74.html
  19. Shut out for 90 of 96 minutes in two games.
  20. Don't know what happened last year but IMO, they don't have the weapons they did last year. Jefferson (WR) is at Ole Miss and the QB could throw much better and was more mobile than this year's starter. Put pressure on the QB and he will throw it to the wrong colored jersey. They are balanced offensively and have probably the best kicker in the state.
  21. Just saw the stats and maybe the O is worse than the D. 5-19 for 35 yards and two pick sixes (with a couple of other near misses). That passing success/luck in the fourth quarter of the first game was just a mirage.
  22. Don't know which is worse, the HC pass defense or their pass offense. Those dbacks stagger around like beer league outfielders under fly balls.
