well ive been readin all this and i would have to agree.....liberty will demolish pearl cohn. but it aint cause of how many games pearl has lost to or how bad they lost to them and how bad liberty beat the teams pearl lost to.....itll be because liberty is a wonderful basketball team. that all was stupid to put up whoever did it.....basketball is all bout matchups....i know this and hopefully all the ones that are posting do too. we lost twice to spring hill by about 5 points in the regular season this year....we also did the same against giles where we lost by about 5 both games....however giles beat spring hill by about 20....sooooo obviously we match up to giles better than spring hill does. with all that bein said....i really dont care who wins. but good luck to both teams and see whoever wins at state.

Wow, First the Panther Nation was alot louder than gc, and if you go back and read the other post I said yall outnumbered us but we were still louder. YOu talk about our grammer and yall tards cant read! And the gc section did used to be great like 4 years ago was the last good year, and I cheered with them at the district tourny. Now your a joke and yall were copying chants that I have made up over the last 3 years you tard. Still like dave said I will cheer for giles, and their cheerleaders but not there fans bc they are a joke and they just plainly stink like a lewis county pole cat. also good luck to spring hill & marshall co. The refs were terrible, the gc fans yelled inbred at a 12 year old girl from lc, and if the gc fans hadn't of left quick they most certainly would have had a real country boy tail whoopin after our tractors warmed up (btw that was the gayest chant that I have ever heard in my life). the gc basketball team may have won but the panther nation beat the gc fans just like we said we would. They had 2 people to every 1 of ours and we were still louder, more intelligient with our cheers and we didn't even have to get too dirty. BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN! BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN! BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN! Well first you need to know the facts before you post something. The person who spelled mountain wrong was in the 4th grade, not in high school. Your chants did go too far and were stupid. you call us inbred but first: yall are further south than us so yall would be more likely to be inbred, second: inbreding is historically know in the states of Mississippi and Alabama, not tennessee. Finally on the STD matter, many studies have show that 86 % of all STD's are in the african american race and we have like 10 black people in our town. Finally never call people from our school stupid bc when I went to ask the gc student section fri to stop being so raunchy bc there were alot of little kids the queerbait with the black curly hair and the stupid hat repied, Thats what you get for thinkin...... yeah that one was smart. and gc wouldnt have won if the refs werent too afraid of them to call a strait game.

I will humbly agree with you. The only way that loretto has a chance of actually being in this game in if not only the starters but the jv team comes down with an extreme case of food poisoning and we have to play our freshman team. That is the only way it will be a close game. that is another installment of the story of but...

Well I'll have to say a few things of course. first yeah chance did handle the ball well but there have been other games where the person that was handling the ball really well made one little mistake and was pulled from the game and it shifted the momentum and eventual outcome of the game. Dave I'll have to say the limited playing time worked this time but we need to try and play Darren and Boomer more throughout the game bc honestly Summertown isn't as strong as usual and when we face teams like Giles we need to have the right players on the floor at all times. If we they sit against teams like Giles then we won't even have a chance to comeback much less finish a game. I will say again congrats, but I personally think we need to come up with a strategy that would be more consistent. Thats just my thoughts. Pageman does page have a game fri? if not come to spring hill and watch lc jump over the 500 mark!

first off, 926 you need to get your facts right. it was not a home and home against Westmoreland. it was a home and away. i was on the team and i remember the nearly 3 hour drive we had to the game. the reason i remember that one so well is bc it was my 1st start and i got player of the game. so just don't talk if you don't know what your talking about. lions4ever I agree with everything you said. All of our games between each other have been really good hard fought battles and were excellent games to watch (except for my junior year when yall killed us in the 1st round, that one stunk). I wish the rivalry would go on. you know my favorite football memory actually happened playing yall when we upset yall my senior year and won the region championship ( I was that noseguard that led the team with 10 tackles that game but am still only remembered for the play where my buddy forced the qb to fumble and i could have recovered it and scored a td but before i got to the ball i tripped over my own feet-lol) I loved playin camden. yall talked alot of smack on the t but yall were always a class act on the field and after the game. yalls coach is a real good guy too.

You my friend, are in for a rude awakening! MP was the one who was too scared to schedule Lewis County 2 years ago and we will remind you of why next season! What was the score the last time we played... um oh yeah 63-0! The score shouldn't be so lopsided this time but don't trash talk unless you are the last one that ended up on top.

Well congrats to the Panthers on the win and to the seniors on the sweep of Summertown. Their leadership and composure get the credit for the 1st sweep of Summertown in what seems like a lifetime. Still something inside of me was not happy at all about that game... anyone that was there knows what I'm talking about!

Well Dave, I know Lewis has the talent to win the district but we all know what it will come down to.

Well it seems to me like the district should be a little more even this year. Giles Co. is not the overpowering monster that they usually are. The only player that deserves any props from their game against Lewis Co. (where Giles won by 9 but the game was closer than the score) was Creshaun Holt. He played phenominally and we just didn't have an answer for him. Another thing that hurt us was the officiating. It seemed to go in the direction of Giles County after one of the refs almost had to throw a Giles Co. fan out of the game. They had to do what they had to do to get out of that hostile environment unharmed and I can't honestly say that I wouldn't do the same. Finally the real difference in the game was our 3 brain farts that ended up being the difference in a loss and overtime. We, for some reason, left Tryce Nelson wide open and he made three 3's in the 2nd half after virtually being shut down the whole game. Still we played good and hard. And Coach Roach coached probably the best game of his career thusfar. So even though it ended in a loss good job to the Panthers and their coaching staff last night. You made a good effort and we should be able to win the one at home. Also congratulations to Giles county on their district win. you should have been there pageman! it was a great game! 1ad is the friggin man! and don't worry sometime after Christmas I'll be able to jump on your back again, just like the old days.

It may be way too early to be doing this but I think that Lewis County will own this region next year bc of the persistence of the great coaching staff led by Bobby Sharp and Kelly Spivey. good luck to everyone in the offseason.
