What if you're not filming the game itself, but the coaches calling plays?

lol Just cannot stand it can you? Just had to throw some bait out there, right? lol And I'm the one that gets accused of starting trouble. Well, I'll leave the comments to others for now. I would have to agree with that statement. Just for fun let me throw out some stats I ran across. UNICOI CO.= 3-1 over 3A teams, wins over Daniel Boone, Sullivan East and Cherokee. Only loss to Science Hill 65-59. Averaging 72.2 ppg while only giving up 58.4 Opponents record (not including Hampton) 25-23 HAMPTON= First off, I can't find records on all the games Hampton has played, but here is what I could find. 0-2 against 3A teams. Losses to South and Tn High 2-0 against teams in the Watauga Conference Wins over Unicoi and Elizabethton. Averaging 52 ppg while only giving up 47 ppg Opponents record (from what I found) is 11-10

I think the Big 9 in general is weak on the coaching side. Coach Whitcher at Tn High does a good job and Coach Whittmore at Volunteer does a good job other than, well you know. But he gets alot out of his players. After watching Unicoi County against Science Hill and at the Hardee's I would have to say they have one of the best coaches around. I wonder how long before someone gets wise and hires him at a big school. Hey WaCo, I noticed that Flack looks like he might have aggravated his injury, heard anything?

Unicoi was by far the best team saturday night. They played tough and hard and did indeed shoot the lights out. Congrats to all the UH players. You guys are going to have another great year.

Cherokee will play University High in the 5th place game. Happy Valley will play Elizabethton for 7th place. Daniel Boone will play David Crockett for 3rd place. Sullivan East will play Unicoi County in the championship game. Anyone have the scores for the games friday night?

Is this the same team from Los Angeles that East lost to by 2 points a few years back? I think they missed a layup at the buzzer to tie. I think all of the local teams will struggle in this years tourney. Maybe 1 will get a first round win. Maybe!!

I have to disagree on the Boone and Unicoi game. Boone looked like they got tired against Happy Valley. They pulled away for the win but didn't shoot very well at all in that game. Happy Valley should have been blown out by halftime. I think Unicoi will beat Boone by at least 10 points. I was very impressed with how Unicoi rebounded the ball last night. Seemed like they came down with everything.

Is anyone going to be able to touch DB this year? They definatly have the team to go through the conference undefeated. Will they? Probably not. But the talent is there. I think the biggest challenge for the coaches at DB this year is to keep everyone happy. Alot of talent, but only one basketball, and only 32 minutes. Other than that they are a well balanced team. Science Hill is still a question mark with me. I know they are talented, but I just don't get the same feeling with this team as I've had with teams of the past. I don't know, maybe its just me. They will continue to kill most teams with their pressure defense and easy scores. But it will be interesting to see what happens when someone finds a way to beat their press and slow down their break and force them into a half court game. I agree, however I think DB is far better than Science Hill. They have some really good shooters, something I don't think Science Hill has. I think TN High will get off to a good start this year as well. They look as though they're already starting to click in their offense. Didn't shoot lights out, but moved the ball really well. Well, I can't say for sure, I haven't seen anyone play. But I would have to say based on last year and what they have coming back that East would have to be one of the favorites. I would also say that Unicoi has to be one of the favorites, they seem to play well in this event every year. I think Elizabethton will have a good team, and they now have a pretty good coach.
