Congratulations South Greene Rebels! The BRAC District Champs!

South Greene is now 13 - 2 overall after the win over Happy Valley today & 5 - 2 in conference play with a loss to Greeneville & Grainger. Friday is a big make up game, a Rebel win would put them tied with Grainger for 2nd in the conference. A loss however would be a big setback for the Rebs.

This is where SG will be tomorrow! WATSON BROWN FOOTBALL CAMP 2009 @ TN Tech July 17th (Friday) PASSING CAMP & OL/DL CAMP. We will be conducting a 7 on 7 passing league that will allow you to play 6-8 games. We are expecting teams from TN, GA, AL, and KY.

South Greene's Sr. QB Susong has a cannon arm can punt 40-60 yards (All-County & All-Conference Punter 2009 as a Jr.) and will hit you like a ton of bricks at defensive end! He is 6-4" and 225 lbs. He should definitely be getting some looks from colleges this year.

Yes, I also think it will be an interesting year! I think it will be Great to renew the rivarly between GHS and SG and CD as well as adding in WG with thier winning season last year. I think this year will be a trip! Can't wait!

Is it true Greeneville will be playing West Greene at WG? If that is right, how will that work with the band and all the extra fans?

You must have better officials in your part of the country than we do. This has been the worst season I have seen by the officials. You could tell in the 1st quarter of the game who they were calling for & that's usually the way the whole game was. Just not fair to the guys who have worked their tails off all year to cheat them out of a win or even a yard. What could a bunch of high school boys have done to these officials to make them take away what they have worked so hard to accomplish. Glad you guys were able to overcome the bs and come out with the win. Good luck against Alcoa.

As a SG Rebel I thought Loudon was more respectful than some of the teams we played in our regular season games. Good luck Friday night Loudon!

Congrats to a much improved WG team & to Jordan Ward for his rushing record. You guys had some tough losses & heartbreakers this year like we did, but still a great season. Hope we still get to play each other after TSSAA gets done with the reclassification. It would be a shame for the Milkcan rivalry to end. The loss was a team effort. HV is a well coached team and did their homework. They were ready for us, they knew what the O was going to every play. Our D did give up 39. Can't blame everything on the O. Let's not start pointing fingers and focus on this week. Gotta keep the can!! Let's Go Rebels!!
