Move Division 2 and we'll have plenty of space to run whatever format we want to run. The same goes for the state duals as well. As an added bonus, you won't get Baylor fans pushing your coats and bags out of the way because they didn't get there early enough to get good seats together.

Spoken like a true D2 wrestler, parent, dad, mom, whatever. Many of you forget why D1 and D2 were split in the first place. I think that there was some question about recruiting athletes, scholarships, oh I don't know, irregularities, lets say. I can agree with the sectionals and regional realignment. But one issue is the fact that most of the D2 wrestlers get to go home with a medal. Bring 16 and medal 6? We need to look at what Georgia and North Carolina are doing right instead of timkering with the sysem we have now. Both states are more productive than we are, have more ranked kids, and have more participation. But, every time Coach Pittman (or somebody like him) gets on here or tries to talk about divisions, everybody laughs and treats them like the village idiot. The problem in TN is that the tail is wagging the dog. Four or five private schools are calling the shots and the other 135 schools are expected to like it.

What state placers are in Region 2? 103 - Miller (GRN) 130 - Ridenour (M) 135 - Farinella (F) and McCrockey (Sey)??? 140 - Shields (M) 145 - All of them??? Region 1 had 3 HWT's place about 5 years ago and the other one come within one match. Has a regionever placed all four? 189 - Hall (M) 215 - Morgan (UC) Anybody else?

Are kidding me? I'm just on here guessing one weight class that had all four guys listed. I do know this...there are some programs that I love to watch (Kingston, Greenback, and Farragut) that I would like to see do well. They are class acts. There are some programs that are having some success this year that I would like to see get smashed at regionals. They're just like school in June......No Class. Anyway, nobody cares what I think anyway. I'm just some guy with a computer that works.

I know, it just makes me sad. I like to see guys that have ran successful programs for years. I want to grow up and be one of those guys one day. So-and-so is retiring after 26 years of coaching, he led his team to..... You get the point.
