I'm gonna start off by saying Monkey Wrench you need to shut up and go post about CA's playoff game!! Oh they didn't make it did they? Now about the game..PC came out the first quarter and got too big of a lead for the Dawgs to come back, without that good start its an even game BUT give PC the credit. Tucker is a GOOD young player and exciting to watch as a spectator and I think will become even better. I hate blaming refs for a loss and people who do it so I will state PC won WITHOUT the refs and were better that night BUT that might have been the worst officiating crew ever! They take ten min to make up their minds, start the game clock wrongly twice in critical situations, and even worse three of them were from MARSHALL CO! they should really be ashamed of their performance overall. Tucker got hit while stile trying to get away, no whistles blown, but its a late hit? No understanding of that, BUT like I said give them credit they WERE the better team friday night and thats the end. Good Luck against Jo Byrnes!

Monkey Wrench your never short on always picking against C'ville so that doesn't surprise me at all. Now, let's state some facts, nobody handed the dawgs their playoff spot they earned it! They beat perry co but it seems everybody jumps right back on their bandwagon?? I know they have a good team but so do we! I hope to see the dawgs come out and take it straight to them, A playoff win would be absolutely HUGE for our program good luck!

The only reason that trophy is in the north side is because yall wouldn't play the dawgs three years ago in the bowl game in murfreesboro. I think it was three years ago??

The DAWGS need to bring bragging rights back where they belong! The SOUTH end of Marshall Co! Should be a good game but i'm picking my team in a nail biter, but they must limit turnovers and dumb penalties. They get that aspect in tact should be a huge W!

I'm gonna be disappointed if the dawgs dont get up big. They're only playing two quarters but "from what I know" we should take this one, but time will tell.

Its not c'ville's fault they only played two series nor that they had to play an hour after. From what I know they just showed up and took care of business, with the hand they were dealt. You can't fault anybody for showing up and playing. Everyone also notice it was a scrimmage and its very early.

anyways...where are the trashtalkin cornersville players now? kinda boring with out em... trash talkin? didn't see a whole lot of that last year, but to answer your question I think they're at camp. Don't quote me on that.

I agree... Cville had alot of inexperience last year, but now those younger guys have a year under their belt. They only lost 2 seniors, so they should be fine! Ok now think, CA, Cully, and Sante Fe are all close to Columbia Central and Spring Hill. C'ville is ten min from Marshall Co. Richland is minutes from Giles Co high school. Huntland is close to Franklin Co... So I get where your coming from and your thinking but maybe think of it that way too.

From what I've seen Single A baseball always gets the worst of the worst in umpires. They probably start them in A then move them up to AA and AAA after time. Its not right and maybe everyone can get decent umpires one day.

Sante fe gave all the dawgs they could handle in extra innings. Give them credit but the dawgs did seem a little flat and underestimated the opponent. It was a tooth and nail game, brewers HR for the dawgs gave them a boost in the 4th. Then in the 7th it was tied and Bassham hit a solo shot which most figured would end their fight but they then pushed another run across in the bottom of the 7th. The dawgs came up with some timely hits in the 9th then retired the side. Good win but some costly mental errors almost brought the upset.

overall it should be a great game, you think richland will pitch parsons or malone? Well I was surprised when I heard Parsons didnt throw against C'ville. So I also wouldnt be surprised to see Malone throw against CA

After seeing both i'm gonna take what some consider the upset and take Richland. Bassham threw against Marshall Co, while Mikey Adams (Freshman) started against Cascade

Up and down week for Cornersville. They beat a good AA marshall co team for the first time in school history on thursday. They pounded out several hits and Bassham made his first start on the mound and threw all seven. The daws played pretty good D also, but today against cascade was not as pretty. The D wasnt as good and the only run came in the 6th with a solo shot from Bassham. I think, (dont quote me) the final was 8-1. It was overall a decent week for the dawgs but stil need to make some improvements.

I agree that CA is prolly in lead and maybe the favorite, but I also believe they can and will be beaten by another team in the district.

Very true statement, at times it was like each team was gonna spot the other one runs to see how long we could keep the game going!! Pretty stressful game. Matchup of the week is possibly C'ville vs Richland on tuesday? anybody agree
