Scrimmage?

I think hitting is really a toss up at this point, I'm gonna have to go to a few games before I chose that one. I Know C'ville has one more scrimmage day next sat. on the 7th against Cascade and another team i'm not sure of at this point. I think they start out the year the 9th against CA it will be interesting to see if Bassham plays in either.

C'ville lost to Marshall Co. on sat 5-2 i believe, good game considering we stil have many starters out and they are a solid AA baseball team.

I was just messing with ya Dr. Wrench, I know its a severe injury. I know it takes time, but I'm sure he'll stil play. Also, C'ville scrimmaged MTCS y'day and lost 6-4 i do believe, and played well considering they were missing atleast 3 and possibly 4 starters due to injury and basketball. MTCS had basketball players and had twice as many players. It was a good but COLD scrimmage. Who all has scrimmages soon? I know C'ville has one on the 17th against MTCS, they will be without a couple guys do to knee surgeries and a few basketball guys, then have another on saturday vs Marshall Co.

In my opinion those refs were HORRIBLE both ways!! I'm a Cornersville fan and I cant blame Stephens for his actions at all. I'm not condoning his actions in any way, but if I'm in his position I cant say I wouldnt react close to the same way. The refs were horrible, for cully and c'ville. Probably one of the most ridiculous officiated games i've seen in a while. At one time I thought both coaches might get T's. Stephens shouldnt have reacted the way he did, BUT I understand why he did.

Yes, Ayers was a nice #2 behind Workman at the end of the season. Both rely heavy on fast balls from what I have seen.

Thats true too... Cornersville should be ok, we have some good young pitchers to back bassham. Pretty good bats through the middle of the lineup, but gonna have to have younger guys step up and produce as well.

I think that MIGHT be true but behind Workman who is going to pitch? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blush:" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> I think that could be a weak spot and any team that could put up runs would give CA fits. I could be wrong tho, but i'm not hopping on that bandwagon just yet.

I think this district could be WIDE OPEN... I honestly have no idea who the favorite in the pre season will be. Richland lost many starters, so did cully, Cornersville lost many too. When I look at the district tho the 3 main players are Parsons, Bassham, and Workman. As far as the top "dawg" lol I have no clue just yet.

Thats Stiles, another senior.. the only two c'ville have wouldve had 3 but the other tore an ACL. This team is young other than these two so they might stumble a little early but I would say it wont be a team you wanna see come tourney time!

Senior.. and the main reason he didnt play as much is because Tyler Cole and him played the same position last year, he came on strong at the end of the season and got more PT, but he and Stiles are the only seniors.

Wow! I dont think i've ever been more confused.. so if MTP and Richland win the 6A c'ship they're gonna play AA in the playoffs?? good god this is confusing lol... I do know that C'ville should be more competitive after only losing 2 seniors, they should have alot more experience now.
