I would say they're a little more balanced than what that stat shows, when they played against C'ville it was pouring down rain alot of the game and wasnt a favorable night for throwing the football, having said that I'm going to take CA by a couple TD's.

Obviously MTP is gonna be the favorite, especially after the dawgs performance last week at CA. The keys for C'ville this week in order to have a chance.. 1. The offense must stay on the field longer!! last week it seemed like the defense was on the field all night which lead to several points. 2. They must become better tacklers. 3. Get the ball into their playmakers hands more often. IF they do these things, and try to keep it close down to the end they might have a chance, IF not it they wont have a chance.

Yeah the refs pulled him off the field when he made a head to head tackle on #11 and took the best of the lick. From what I know right now he went to the ER to get checked out and probably a concussion he was acting real woozy but I'm sure he'll be ok.... but as far as the game goes it was domination by CA. They took real advantage of a YOUNG C'ville defense and their offense struggled the entire game. Must give credit where it goes and thats to CA.

Well C'ville didnt really throw a whole lot against Community so idk how it was that bad. Last week was wet and muggy and not the greatest game for a passing attack but stacking the box to stop the run is nothing the dawgs arent accustomed to seeing.

After looking at alot of things, I think this might be the truest statement i've read.

Not taking anything away from your big opening win, BUT come on now you cant compare sewanee to any teams in this region especially MTP. I say you might score once but it prolly wont be on the 1st string D. I'ma take mtp by really as many as they want it to be. Having scrimmaged both teams prior to this season, I'ma say eagles by atleast 2 TD's.. they have to many athletes, speed, and size. Bottom Line better football team.

Cornersville definetly has to improve on the turnovers and mental mistakes, but if they can fix those but stil play with the high intensity and guts they did against community I think they'll be ok /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> P.S. Huntland 24 PC- 6

Well well.... the puppydawgs pull it out!! Lets give some credit where its due tho, the vikings played alot better than last year and have improved. Now having said that, the bulldogs did not play well at all, too many turnovers! A win is a win and we'll take it tho. The game was chippy the entire night. There was ALOT OF PENALTIES and most being personal fouls but both sides were fired up so sometimes emotions get the best of people. Also a large factor was C'ville had several players cramping on a muggy night. I know #46 (i think) has to feel horrible after his little endzone celebration helped contribute to the one point loss. But In the end the "new breed" bulldawgs pulled it out!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Oh no..he's not that good at all but they're very thin at the position behind him. The running game that they mostly rely on is not gonna be the same at all.

I'm not bashing my region 6 friends in Perry Co. at all, BUT we did scrimmage MTCS just a few weeks ago and they are well improved!! I do believe they have a transfer QB who is very effective. They have a decent RB and the line is far from great, and is probably the week spot but they have a few athletes and I just dont think Perry Co. will keep up and stil think they are the under dog even tho I hope they prove me wrong and WIN!!

I dont think they're the under dogs by any means. You do realize perry co was last in region 6 last year, and I'm pretty sure went winless?

Ok... I think we might have a misinterpretation on the "New Breed". We respect our coaches and the former alumni who played in front of us that helped to get everything we have now. We use it to the best of our ability and for the most part I'd say people of this community say we're respectable young men. I've gone to school here my whole life and football hasnt been a very big thing. We're trying to change that now and it started last year. We DO have hard work and dedication. I think my friend cornerback10 is mentioning the "New Breed" as in we have some swagger and a little attitude which all good football teams do. We dont want this program going back to where it was by any means! So by those terms NEW BREED!! I hope this rain quits so practice is a little more physical and OUTSIDE today!!

My point exactly!! I've seen eagleville over the spring and was at that game. Eagleville should contend for that region.
