Well this is a very diverse district. As you said everyone has beat everyone. Personally I think that it will be Upperman. They beat Cannon Co. again tonight. Macon has progressed and the season has went on. You can never really tell about Dekalb, they did beat Livingston so they can be a surprise sometimes. Cannon Co. (although they only have one district win) has played every game but a few very close. Maybe they'll be on the flip side of the coin come tournament time. Smith Co. could be dangerous too you never know. Livngston would be my second pick. Everyone has stepped up on that team and they are playing really good basketball right now. York has also showed some signs of a championship team at times. This is just a toss up. Hopefully Cannon wins against Smith Co. and I think that they will personally. As far as district champs go, I'm gonna stick with the bees.

Come on now you don't honestly think that if your team finishes last in the district that they will make past maybe two games do you? Be sensible, the brackets will never satisfy anyone completely, so if this is what TSSAA decides to do then just roll with it. This also puts more meaning in the season.

What's the signifigance of half of 100. Yes Oakland lost, but anyway do you think Oakland will drop 100 on y'all?

Maybe they are trying to integrate this kind of system like bigger schools have started doing. Like in 7AAA they swithch it up each year. Maybe they'll start doing that in 7AA

7AA is doing the exact same thing my man. The last two teams as far as record goes play each other for the right to play in the tournament. I think this is fair. The regular season should mean something. The worst team in the district doesn't deserve to play in the District Tournament.

So no tournaments at Warren this year?

This game should be really good. I've been waiting for this one a long time. The student section is gonna be ready boys and I'm sure Dekalb will be too. Last time it went into overtime and Dekalb won a close one. Cannon gets their revenge in this one and wins. Hopefully no one gets thrown out this time ha!

Did you not read the last post I made? I had and still have nothing but good things to say about Livingston's program, their coach, and their players. In my last post I stated that I could understand where Melton was coming from when making this decision. I'll say it again though, just for you. I know Livingston is gettin ready for the playoffs. I know that they are a young team. I also understand that coach Melton was trying to secure the lead. I get the point. Now maybe after you read this post, or the last post then maybe you will "grasp the concept".

I'm aware of the fact that they are a very young team. In my last post I had alot of good things to say about your team and Coach Melton. I understand where your coming from Hogeye21, and that makes alot of sense. Experience does matter and these boys need to be ready for the postseason (as i mentioned in my previous post)

The reason i believe in Cannon's improvement is because Coach Barger's weight program is jsut starting to kick in. Coach came in the spring of 2005. We had a huge freshman class that year which are all upcoming juniors now. There are alot of seniors this year, too. This guys have been busting their butt and have gotten alot stronger. If you remember, Cannon and Upperman were close in the competition last year. Do you think York and Jackson will participate this year?
