  1. That's right, I couldn't decide between the two. Is Westmoreland still strong this year? I know they lost alot of seniors including you waterbug. I think Upperman will be a surprise and Cannon Co. will show a drastic improvement.
  2. True. Westmoreland's still got it
  3. Yes you do, he's a great guy. The purple pounders have a bright future ahead of them. He really turned the program at Lake Co. around.
  4. Riverdale will be good this year. It will be a while until we can tell
  5. I still think they may struggle with these teams, but they won't struggle to win wqo games. I'm sticking with my five wins for the 2007 Lions. Lion Pride!
  6. Ha ha not me. I've already visited hogeye once this week and watched Cannon Co. get defeated. I hope the bees pull it out
  7. Chalk another one up for the crusaders
  8. I do believe that Upperman is far higher than a below average coached team
  9. They were silent during the Cannon game I'd have to say, but win your winning by twenty what can you say? I didn't see any school spirit. It's probably a whole different story in a closer game. I agree that it's between Dekalb or Cannon. Throw Upperman in there, too.
  10. I agree. I think the owls will pull this one out. it is weird how Smith plays well against the top teams, then may drop one to a lower ranked team. I personally witnessed that at Cannon Co. (Cannon's only district win so far). The owls really need this one and i say they win it by seven. 59-52
  11. I know this isn't a highly publicized thing, but it always interests me to find out who wins this. Cannon Co. started competing in this last year and it sparked my interest. Westmoreland won last year. What team will be the strongest?
  12. I just want to say good luck at your new position coach. I played for your brother at Cannon Co. and you came and spoke and the banquet one year. Your a great guy and from what I've seen you really turned Lake Co. around. I hope everything goes great for you in your future years. No way bigmoney. Barger is staying at Cannon Co. this season for sure.
  13. That's true, but unfortunately we're not. I agree termite, we are hoping that we will do better. I also agree that even though you may say you're team is working hard, that doesn't mean that other teams aren't working just as hard. Just take a look at Cannons schedule and tell me how many you think they will honestly win
  14. My mind is changed on the fact about Dunn. Livingston is getting better as the season goes on and every starter and even 6th and 7th man have stepped up on that team. i mean they beat a struggling Cannon co. team so that doesn't change my mind about White House not having to worry to much. I would still be worried about Upperman before i was Dunn and company.
  15. I think that when they get everyone back, they could go far in the postseason.
  16. With half a quarter to play?!
  17. This shouldn't be a rebuilding year for Jo Byrns. They should do very good again. I know they dropped Cannon co. from non-region play. Who did they end up picking up?
  18. I believe that Coach Melton was tuning up for the postseason and he had good intentions. It's not about a cut and dried rule it's about sportsmanship. . . that's all i'm saying
  19. Oh i see, i guess you think Livingston is just unpenetrable now that you drummed us one game. Livingston has played alot of good games and they are only getting better as the season progresses, and some of this probably has to do with Coach Melton. I think he's doing a great thing in Livingston and is doing an excellent job there. And i don't think Livingston has ever blown a twenty point lead with half of a quarter left to play. Losing is not what bothers me and i could care less about this game. Its a matter of sportsmanship not winning or losing. I would say Melton had good intentions though. I know that he likes to secure the lead early, and as someone said earlier it's getting closer to the playoffs and i think he wants his starters to get alot of playing time heading into the postseason.
